The hats sound wonderful!

It might be too identifying to post pictures of them but once I have finished I may do. Am really enjoying them, although whether I will have the energy to keep up the pace now term has started I don't know. It's a really lovely pattern and I've now done five, and onto my sixth with another couple in the queue. https://www.shetlandwoolweek.com/knitting-pattern/

I'm also planning to knit one of these https://wee-county-yarns.co.uk/free-patterns/three-forths-hat-2139963

Has Bessie got any sting relief cream? I got attacked today.
I'm being very brave though, and I definitely won't spend Maud's welcome home party monopolising every conversation with details of how

ENORMOUS

my attacker was, and how very angry it was, and how I now can't feel anything on that side of my body.

IRL it hurts a bit but it's fine.

Bessie is very confident in her sting relief remedies, at least as far as how well they work within the Blue Stocking. The degree to which they have real life effect is up for debate. I hope you find satisfaction soon. Miserable.

At least blue whale. Maybe Titanosaur.

Blimey Android, have you been stalking me? 😂

MarieDeGournay · 16/09/2025 18:36

Poor you, Magpie! That sounds awful, and I'm fully prepared to believe that 'it' was literally the size of a jumbo jet, if that makes you feel any better🤕

There was a bit of a dust-up between a seagull and two magpies in my garden today, over some crusts I threw out. Lots of acrobatics, low passes and near misses. The magpies got something, you'll be glad to hear, but not much😒

How are you all doing the big letters?

How are you all doing the big letters?

You have to shout really loud at the screen whilst you are typing.

Do you indeed?

😜

See! Shouting loudly whilst typing gives you bigly letters!

OP posts:
ifIwerenotanandroid · 16/09/2025 19:04

That's odd, because I'm whispering!

Magpiecomplex · 16/09/2025 19:05

And I'm singing melodiously!

Boiledbeetle · 16/09/2025 19:06

Maud is unsure which outfit she should wear tonight.

She isn't sure whether the other gerbils will get jealous of her rather extended wardrobe.

Is plain or fancy the way to go?

Personally I think she looks best in the first one

I love you lot. I was too scared to post here for ages because you are all so much more intelligent and erudite and well read and well informed than me.

Magpiecomplex · 16/09/2025 19:07

I like the darker blue but it does make her look slightly matronly, so I agree with you Boily.

ifIwerenotanandroid · 16/09/2025 19:07

Deffo the first one. I've never been a fan of pussy bows, & #3 is too weddingy. But maybe post in S&B?

Nah, we're just good at blagging!

I've forgotten how to do BIGLY stuff, thereby proving my non-cleverness.

Dont tell her but it makes her look like she's at a wedding in 1986.
