These threads are currently being used to follow the case that is taking place at Westminster Magistrate's Court over the 4th and 5th September, but will also be following the subsequent fallout of Graham's arrest at Heathrow on his return to the UK for this court case earlier this week.

He is currently on trial for alleged harassment of a trans identified male and criminal damage to the man's phone. The charges stem from a series of events in October 2024 at Battle of Ideas.

Free Speech Union are running a fundraiser to support a claim against the Met in reference to the Heathrow arrest. Just search FSU and Graham Linehan fundraiser and it should be easy to find. Currently reached 93% of its target.

Most of the mainstream media have reported on the case, but none have covered it as well as Nick Wallis. Follow him on X for live posting from the court.

I met Graham a little while ago. My husband didn’t know who he was, and i told him that Graham wrote Fr Ted, The IT Crowd and Black Books.

After we’d gone home, i mentioned, ‘you were having a nice chat with Graham’.
He said ‘yeah, he’s a nice fella. What did he write? Bill & Ted??’

🤦🏻‍♀️

Well at least Graham's not said 'fuck' yet so that's something. I'm a gobshite too, I think I might have. It's interesting how at the tribunals all the women are so so polite and then you get a big lummox like Glinner and the contrast is stark. I don't think it does him any favours but my god I empathise with him.

I think it does him lots of favours. He is not dissembling. There is no sophistry. What you see is what you get and what you see is he has cause. None of this was unprovoked. He has been pushed beyond the point but is still willing to stand up for the rights of women and girls. I’m getting increasingly frustrated by the desire for him to somehow be neat. He is presenting his views honestly. that is to be admired. They are based on the reality of being harassed and abused by the likes of SN and LW for years.

Largesso · 05/09/2025 19:07

I think it doesn’t do him a disservice. He is utterly honest and without filters and this communicates the awfulness so effectively. The lack of dissembling
is rare and to be valued. His he at sense of when he may have gone too far but the back
story and complex make you think no wonder!

As much as I cringe, his verbal diarrhoea is often what many of us would love to be able to say out loud at times (caveat but not everything).

Deafnotdumb · 05/09/2025 19:20

Whilst I admire Graham's words, it's also made him a prominent target. It sounds like he has no fucks left to give - and after the sustained bullying and harassment by the TRAs, who could blame him?

I would love a bright blinding spotlight on the bias of the police over this issue. In the meantime, I hope glinner finds a measure of peace and happiness in Arizona.

So. Brooks is dodgy as fuck and it's interesting that the Internet doesn't know his real name and there are serious doubts about his age. I hope better brains than mine will get to the bottom of those two mysteries soon. I have no doubt there's a lot more dirt about the fragrant Sophia out there.

Brooks thinks they have been terribly clever.

Here's the thing, this case, encouraged by males much much older than Brooks, has put Brooks firmly in the spotlight.

Brooks original name is known and will undoubtedly become widespread knowledge over coming days. Whats more, the police officer inadvertently told everyone the area to within a mile, where the Brooks family live.

However awful i think Brooks has behaved, shame on those much much older males who have thrown Brooks into the spotlight, while they slink into the shadows.

Mindful of this morning’s evidence from the policeman who took up the investigation after TRA complained, did any of you read this Wings over Scotland article and think “oh, Kirkcaldy; where have I heard of that town before?”: https://wingsoverscotland.com/down-on-the-beaches/

Down On The Beaches

We’ve written already about the magnitude of the error transactivists have made in bringing about the arrest of Graham Linehan on trumped-up assault charges. But thanks to the excellent work …

In February this year his mad threats to perform a citizen’s arrest on Sandie Peggie’s lawyer Naomi Cunningham caused the tribunal to be moved from Edinburgh to Dundee at short notice.

This be Lyndsey Watson who apparently got Linehan arrested on Wednesday...

Like wtf

Yes, it is astonishing, and needs investigating, how a disgraced sacked ex copper can influence current serving officers so much.

Let's not forget that Naomi Campbell said that both she and the judge in the tribunal had received threats....

GL has violated his bail condition.

He deleted last night's tweet today but it has been archived as evidence and a report has been made to the Met.

I. The light of potential new evidence about who was behind these, might I suggest that police Scotland might want to do some (checks notes) policing?

DeanElderberry · 05/09/2025 19:58

Naomi Cunningham

but the real point is that the TRAs live in such a bubble that they really don't seem to see what a disaster getting Glinner into court has been and will be for them and their fad. Sunlight is the best disinfectant. I'm sorry he's been treated so abominably by them, but it is all coming out now, and can't be put back.

Talkinpeace · 05/09/2025 19:59

Glinner accidentally said thank you to Riley Gaines.
Ah well.

The videos of Tarquin at the Battle of Ideas are interesting.
Nobody learns to move like that on their own.
SOMEBODY has coached him about non contact interference
Who ?
Why ?

I haven't watched any of the videos, or followed all the details, but isn't the phone thing - pushing a phone in someone's face to film them, then said person gets annoyed, grabs the phone and chucks it on the ground - simply a case of FAFO?

AMansAManForAllThat · 05/09/2025 20:02

Can’t believe how this has gone on. How can a man who was dismissed for harrassment be taken seriously with this?!

Can you imagine the headlines if he got jailed for tweeting "thanks mate!" (and then shortly after, deleting it) in response to a fan saying nice things to him?

Nothing is going to happen, and if by some chance it does, it's still a win in the court of public opinion.

Yeah it's definitely definitely be in the public interest...
