Arrested again! Details on his Substack. This is beyond a joke; 5 armed officers!

I just got arrested again

I arrived back in London to discover the UK is still a police state run by trans activists

He's not as rich.

And I don't think JKR has openly advocated for kicking trans women in the nuts, has she?

So am I allowed to kick a man in the nuts if being assaulted?

Abhannmor · 02/09/2025 14:54

Butchyrestingface · 02/09/2025 14:32

I can't even find any credible news sources for that. All I can see are posters on Twitter and Reddit saying that he did.

I vaguely remember some tweet where he jokingly says ' I'm gonna kill 'em!' . Can't remember who Them was now. My old Union rep used to say ' I'll eat em alive !' before she went in to do battle with management. It's called a figure of speech.

Soon to be banished from the English language.

Hello! Yes it is. Although I won't be posting much for a bit as I desperately need to sleep!

Have a good rest
and this place can be your non Xtwitter hidey hole.
Justine will have your back I am sure.

That was quite clearly a tongue in cheek comment rather than a serious threat

Maybe, but threatening to kill women is never funny and shouldn't be excused.

JenniferBooth · 02/09/2025 14:56

Just got a call from the police about the male who harassed me in a shop just over two weeks ago The report is being filed. Thats it

He's already being sued for defamation by a gay man, and already has a charge for harassment and criminal damage against a trans woman, and threatened to kill women at a protest (which earned him a permanent ban on Twitter, before Uncle Musk brought him back).

He also sexually harassed and threated to drag a trans woman out a toilet by her "kinky boots". I'm disappointed he wasn't charged for that.

Multiple people, I was one of them, reported him to the police for his latest sexual violence threat to punch trans people in their genitalia.

The violent homophobe won't stop until he's in prison.

It's also not a good look for the GC community since apart from Jo he appears to be one of the "leaders".

So he allegedly threatened other men then?

There's no 'maybe' about it, he's clearly taking the piss out of another poster. Transactivists were constantly trying to get him banned from twitter, they were ecstatic when they finally succeeded.

So am I allowed to kick a man in the nuts if being assaulted?

Absolutely. I'd go a lot further than kicking him in the nuts though if I were physically able.

I don't think there was any suggestion an assault was taking place during GL's hypothetical scenario though. More that the trans women were somewhere they shouldn't be, which falls short of assault.

You think 'jokes' about killing women are funny?

You're really saying that here, on a feminist board?

justasking111 · 02/09/2025 14:41

Question!? If he has been arrested. How come JK Rowling hasn't? They both point out inconvenient truths. Yet he's suffered the brunt of it

Edited

It's all about PR. The free speech police want to 'make an example' of someone, to intimidate anyone else who might be thinking of speaking out. But they won't target those who can afford to lawyer up, or who are too popular with the masses. That might backfire. So they find a pereceived weak link to pick on instead.

It's the same story every time - and in-group infighting is one of the things that makes someone a weak link.

He was not 'threatening to kill' them. It was a sarcastic rejoinder which only the terminally dim or mendacious would have taken seriously.

It's not funny but it's also entire inoffensive. Why are the police still obsessing over this type of thing? Even the kick them in the balls thing is nonsense. He's clearly joking about the fact that most TW have balls. It's not even remotely close to incitemnet (or shouldn't be anyway).

I don't find anything to do with killing women acceptable, sarcastic or not.

Far too many violent threats against women has been excused with 'it's only a joke', I'm sure many of us here have experienced it ourselves.

Christinapple · 02/09/2025 15:08

"He was not 'threatening to kill' them. It was a sarcastic rejoinder"

If someone threatens to kill anyone whether it was a "sarcastic rejoinder" or not should be decided by a judge and jury in court.

OriginalUsername2 · 02/09/2025 15:10

Didn’t Katie Hopkins go through this years ago?

I’m not a fan of her, but I’m sure there was a huge push to arrest her for her tweets and opinions.

Whether you find something acceptable on a personal level really should have no bearing on whether another person should face criminal prosecution over a well-worn (and very obviously sarcastic) figure of speech.

Glinner · 02/09/2025 15:10

Three fairly shit tweets that are now going viral. Just my luck. By the way that person who said I threatened women is a fucking liar

From the Daily Mail article:

Linehan, 57, has shared the tweets which he says police arrested him over. One from April 20 said: 'If a trans-identified male is in a female-only space, he is committing a violent, abusive act. Make a scene, call the cops and if all else fails, punch him in the balls.'
A second tweet, on April 19, was a picture of a trans rally with the caption: 'A photo you can smell.' The third was a follow up to this tweet which said: 'I hate them. Misogynists and homophobes. F* em.'

This tweet is what @Christinapple is referring to as 'incitement to violence'

As PP have stated, the double standards are astonishling

Those tweets should come with a trigger warning!

WARNING! The following tweets are so unhinged they may cause fainting and rioting. Hide the children! Blood will run in the streets!

Remember travelers, you may think impolite things (for now) but you mustn’t say them aloud.

I think it’s the laws underpinning the police too. It’s madness.

You out on bail?

Just remember, say nuffink without a lawyer present.

But leave the rosary beads at home when you're being questioned. Otherwise, just like Tommy Sheridan's wife Gail, you might find them accusing you of being a member of the IRA.

Glinner · 02/09/2025 15:12

I'm delighted to say that more than one lawyer has told me that the arrest was illegal.

The series of tweets that led to the ban and the ban notice can be seen here

That reads very clearly as a joke to me.

A very bad taste joke. Incredibly poor taste in fact, given how much violence is aimed at women, and how many women die a week in the UK due to that violence... but surely no one took that tweet seriously?

Blimey at what you’re facing. Orwellian
