Arrested again! Details on his Substack. This is beyond a joke; 5 armed officers!

I just got arrested again

I arrived back in London to discover the UK is still a police state run by trans activists

You could apply the same argument to a lone adult male who refused to stop hanging around in kids’ playgrounds or outside the local primary school. Would people similarly object to ‘if he repeatedly refuses to go, and the police won’t do anything, take it into your own hands”? Unlikely.

There's certainly a section of the population who would object to anyone making suggestions about how to deal with men intimidating children.

ArabellaScott · 03/09/2025 13:24

If a man breaks the law and commits voyeurism or exhibitionism and transgresses women's boundaries, that's abuse. Women who are intimidated by men invading their spaces where they are vulnerable, in a state of undress, etc, are entitled to consider how they might wish to defend themselves.

For what it's worth, I don't think it's the best advice, because a man who is deliberately transgressing women's boundaries is a risk, and women are at a disadvantage because men are stronger, so I'd suggest attempting to leave quietly and quickly is more effective/safer.

But that's because Glinner was making a joke, not giving actual self defense advice.

Yes. Making a joke. I can’t help thinking it’s the mention of balls that’s really riled them. They’d be less bothered by a call to punch them in the tits. They’d take that as affirmation.

Daygloboo · 03/09/2025 13:26

But GL wasn't inside the context of a female space. He was was inside the context of a tweet..

Oh dear god. He was suggesting it as a last course of action to women in female spaces with men who refused to leave. If he'd written it on a sky banner pulled by a plane, the point remains the same.

Ah, you may be correct. It yucks their yum, to point out the wee elephant in the room, doesn't it.

Themaghag · 03/09/2025 11:28

But surely that's what Glinner suggested? His tweet referred to 'men' not trans identifying men, just men. The fact that any man has, over the last several years, been encouraged to enter single sex facilities if he wants to, has come about because trans dentifying men have claimed it as their right, is neither here nor there. Glinner's tweet didn't specify any particular subset of men and furthermore, he simply offered the same good advice as the Queen's mother, which Camilla had the presence of mind to use to excellent effect!

His tweet didn't just say men.

ArabellaScott · 03/09/2025 13:29

Thingybob · 03/09/2025 13:28

His tweet didn't just say men.

It specified men who were invading women's spaces.

ALL police in the airports are armed. He was arrested by the airport police. Thus they were armed. Simples.

He told people to punch others. Being one of the "we just know" brigade (he doesn't, he lies) this is extra dangerous and encouraging violence for something that is not against the law.

Encouraging violence has NEVER been part of free speech, and never will. This is the correct way. Imagine being one of the people who receive death threats and threats of rape etc etc every day.

As I have spoken about before. Mr Linehan decided to "out" one of my friends as trans. My friend is not trans, but GL decided she was. She closed her social media down because of the hideous threats she received. Threats sent to her employer. Her children (including daughters) bullied in school for having a trans parent (again, not trans). Yes, other high profile anti trans activists jumped on his bandwagon, but he started it. And has still never apologised. He deleted the worst of the tweets, but not all.

He is no hero. He is no saviour of women. He does not care who he hurts in the crossfire.

So why weren't the people holding "decapitate Terfs" or "the only good Terf is a dead Terf" signs arrested?

Why haven't every single UK based poster whose tweets inciting and threatening violence appear on Terfisaslur been arrested.

Why isn’t threatening or inciting extreme violence against people who hold a protected belief taken equally seriously.

ArabellaScott · 03/09/2025 13:29

It specified men who were invading women's spaces.

Yes, he did specify TIMs but only those who are found in women’s spaces and remain there after a woman has objected in other ways. We’ve been over this upthread.

In all of the reporting of this I've barely seen any mention of the double standards involved.

This is absolutely glorious. It makes no sense on any level but sort of parses as sentences so you think it says something.

The tweet had a context! That context was a male refusing to leave a protected, women only space where the male has no legal right to be.

It created a delightful mental picture of a rather tall man trying to physically cram himself into a tiny box on the internet.

Robin67 · 03/09/2025 13:37

Presumably they are also going to send 6 armed officers to anyone who has ever said "punch a terf". Unless they are not in the UK, in which case I expect them to arrested on arrival if they ever do come here.

I have no idea. Because this thread is about GL?

A man who is happy to try and destroy the life of a woman who isn't famous, who isn't well known, but he took a dislike to because of a job she had previously done, is not someone to look up to or support in any way IMO.

Pluvia · 03/09/2025 13:43

@justteanbiscuits For clarity, trying to make sense of your post upthread, is the friend of yours who you refer to as 'she' a biological woman (XX chromosomes) or a biological man (XY chromosomes). I don't understand why Graham or any other GC person would accuse a biological woman of being trans. Why would they do that?

Violence as a last resort in the context of an unwanted male being in a women’s space where the law says they should not be.

Why is the conversation "women don't defend yourself against a law breaker who makes you feel threatened" rather than "why aren't the police, public bodies and politicians doing more and better to prevent women from feeling this at risk and threatened?"

Is it because if we acknowledge this, it requires action...

The problem is, the "you can just tell" types can't just tell. If I know TWO women who have both had problems after someone else decides they are men, how many more are being abused after being encouraged by people like GL?

Or are you one of the "a bit of collateral damage is fine" women?

SirBasil · 03/09/2025 13:46

MrsSlatersParrot · 03/09/2025 07:40

I think we can make a reasonable guess at your political affiliation from such a tellingly ignorant statement.

Many thousands of people not only take the Greens seriously but believe, not unreasonably, that their policies are increasingly vital in our corrupt society.
Their first MP, Caroline Lucas - a woman I happen to know personally and have great respect for - did phenomenal work in acting against, and in at least two cases I can think of exposing, corruption in the Tory party.

disappointingly she did nothing to get rid of the GI twits, and here we are. I can never ever vote green again, which is a shame because i have done since they were the ecology party.

certainagedwoman · 03/09/2025 13:46

Hi @Glinner I hope you can take some comfort from the fact that, although what happened to you was absolutely awful, the whole debacle has shone a massive spotlight on the trans debate, and apart from a few deluded activists, the whole country is on your side.

Re read my post. I made it very clear that my friend is not, and has never been trans.

GL took a personal dislike to her because of a job she had previous done that had a loose link to LGBTQ issues (it was FAR from the main purpose of her role). He then found photos of her online, decided she was a man, and doxed her. Other high profile anti trans activists jumped on the bad wagon.

A old colleague I am friends with is 6ft2, very large busted but very slim, and tends to wear bright lipstick and fairly 'out there' clothing. She has been verbally abused on a number of occasions for "being a man".

The one thing both these women have in common is having given birth, vaginally, which kind of removes all doubt, no?

ArabellaScott · 03/09/2025 13:51

I hope Glinner is resting, and taking care of his health. The FSU are on it, and the media and politicians will thrash this out now, so hopefully he can just take a bit of time to recover from the stress.

Charabanc · 03/09/2025 13:52

When the news of his arrest came out yesterday morning, lots of transes on Reddit and BlueHairSky were jubilant. The mad SEEN Police one especially, who I think made the original complaint.

And I thought about it for a bit, and suspected that it was going to be very, very bad for them. Not him. And so it is turning out.

This will peak a lot of people who had forgotten all about the mad hurty feelz "crimes". Time has moved on since the original complaint. This is shedding a lot of sunshine. Happy times.
