Arrested again! Details on his Substack. This is beyond a joke; 5 armed officers!

I arrived back in London to discover the UK is still a police state run by trans activists

Someone,.rightly or wrongly, made a decision to arrest him airside

That then means, airports being airports and Heathrow being Heathrow it wasn''t be done by a couple of coppers from Hounslow or Uxbridge police station, it was a task for the specialist airport police, who will be armed.

No idea why five but they do usually work as teams.

This is the crux, surely. Once a decision has been made to arrest him airside, the armed police etc is a matter of form. The question is, who the hell makes that decision, acting as if Glinner is some international terrorist?

Can someone please explain why GL saying punch a TW in the balls is different to Sarah Jane Baker saying punch a terf in the face?

I have no dog in this game, I'm neither for nor against GL but if one is bad surely the other also is?

Well quite

Yes, threatening to punch people in the genitalia is a sexual threat of violence.

He didn't do this though, did he. He suggested a form of self defense to females if all else fails when faced with the threat of a male present in a female space. What is sexual about it? I would absolutely go for a bloke's balls to stop him; because, faced with a far stronger male, I would go for their most vulnerable area rather than try to give them a right hook that would make little impact.

A member of the TRAliban lying, imagine that.

Why are the police going along with this when it’s clearly malicious?

Maybe the former police officer who seems to be behind it knows too much about serving officers. Or have I taken Line of Duty too seriously 😄

TonTonMacoute · 02/09/2025 13:05

Why did he have to be arrested?

If they had sent an officer round to 'have a word' sometime over the next few days, that would have been bad enough. But this totally OTT action is gobsmacking.

factor50fan · 02/09/2025 13:06

I don't know why everyone is going on about it being legitimate self defense strategy. The 'punch him in the balls' comment is clearly a joke of the ' her penis' variety. Its showing the absurdity of a man with bollocks being treated by society as a woman. If an actual woman was harassing you in the loos, you wouldn't punch her in the bollocks would you? No, and that's the point of the comment.

NoFineBalance · 02/09/2025 13:06

EasternStandard · 02/09/2025 12:56

It’s a fairly standard remark on self defence. Does anyone who says this about facing male threat need to stop or get arrested?

Well quite, it's basic self defence any female should be told is absolutely fine in the face of male violence; and I am pretty disturbed at the thought that vulnerable young girls are going to be accused of "sexual violence" in defending themselves or talking about defending themselves in this way. This sort of shit is designed to make women doubt themselves and make them feel like wrongdoers, and it's always the young who are targeting with this sort of Orwellian nonsense. I feel like we need a "punch them in the balls" Spartacus moment.

Wheresthebeach · 02/09/2025 12:01

This is truly frightening. Keep pic of child rape on your computer and walk free, threaten to kill/burn JK and nothing happens. Labour will only continue down this road.

The fact that Ricky Jones was cleared after what he said tells you all you need to know in this regard.

SidewaysOtter · 02/09/2025 13:07

So "If a trans-identified male is in a female-only space, he is committing a violent, abusive act. Make a scene, call the cops and, if all else fails, punch him in the balls" warrants an arrest by five armed police.

But Sarah Jane Baker spouts "If you see a TERF punch them in the fucking face" and there's...tumbleweed.

Right Hmm

Enough4me · 02/09/2025 13:08

He suggested self-defence if required.
For those highlighting this is violence, please tell us women how else to stop a man threatening us in the women's loos?

I'm not talking about men who are stopped and walk away (though they shouldn't need telling!) but the strange ones who don't follow the Supreme Court (law).

SJB has a conviction for torture and attempted murder and is on license. His freedom will be based on him meeting his license conditions. Those license conditions may limit his freedom of speech and association. None of this applies to GL who afaik is of good character and therefore entitled to make stupid jokes on X.

Tealpins · 02/09/2025 13:10

Hold up, weren't the UK red tops extolling the Queen for actually using her heeled shoes to do this, in her youth, yesterday?

Noodledog · 02/09/2025 13:10

So is it time to start reporting TRAs to the police every single time they post or say anything threatening (or just unpleasant, as in the tweet about saying protesters smell)? It will be very time consuming.

BunfightBetty · 02/09/2025 13:12

tellmewhenthespaceshiplandscoz · 02/09/2025 12:47

Yes please @Christinapple - you also report those holding placards such as “Decapitate TERFS” don’t you?

Yes @Christinapple you will have reported Sarah Jane Baker for all the threats and incitement to violence that person has made, won’t you, given you are so bothered about this?

Please confirm.

I think this already happens. The fact that trans activists can get away with such behaviour It is probably a result of police EDI’d and LGBTQIA+++ Stonewall training influencing their judgement.

GoatsareGOAT · 02/09/2025 13:15

ArabellaScott · 02/09/2025 11:07

100%

This is insane.

Yep
arrested for suggesting that men in women's spaces get punched in the balls

BUT wave placards with "kill terfs" in public & politicians will pose for photos 🫠

Messycoo · 02/09/2025 13:20

FFS! What a waste of resources and tax payer money !!

Sladuf1 · 02/09/2025 13:23

TempestTost · 02/09/2025 10:42

And they wonder why people think there is two tier policing. whoever is in charge of that police force is a moron.

Completely agree. Clearly no thought given to the optics of this and it should be a consideration. The perception that there is two tier policing is gaining traction. Don’t fuel it for goodness’ sake.
Equally as others have said how this can be argued to be a justifiable use of resources is anyone’s guess. He’s a 57 year old man and they obviously knew where he was going to be. Not an occasion requiring 5 officers in attendance.
No common sense applied.

Noodledog · 02/09/2025 13:23

@Christinapple I would honestly suggest thinking really, really carefully about the implications here before you come out in support of the actions of the police. Because what is used against your enemies today could easily be used against you and your friends tomorrow.

This should be worrying to everyone, no matter their opinions on trans issues (or, frankly, on any issue).

BunfightBetty · 02/09/2025 13:23

Anyone wanting to make sure they’re suitably skilled if they should have the misfortune to encounter a flasher or peeping tom in the ladies should follow @sensei.Chelle on Instagram. The woman’s a self-defence legend and will teach you far more than a swift kick in the balls.

Plant more trees,
Clean the seas,
Punch Nazis.

StilltheUnknownWorrier · 02/09/2025 13:29

It seems OTT to arrest him. Evidently that's stressful, caused him to feel unwell and is only supposed to be if necessary.

I'm not on X, its not my cup of tea. I don't know what the law is on 'inciting violence' though wouldn't have thought that would meet it.

I'd prefer him and others on TERF side not to use that kind of language even though TRAs do.

WildCats24 · 02/09/2025 13:30

LittleBitofBread · 02/09/2025 10:58

I mean, I don't like the 'photo you can smell' comment, but this is ridiculous.
It is interesting that at least one female police officer, and the one who sent him the tweet about who may have reported him, seem to be able to see what they're being made to do.

I don’t get the joke. Can someone explain it to me like I’m 5 years old?

SinisterBumFacedCat · 02/09/2025 13:31

Is this some weird reverse psychology thing? Are the police actually showing how ridiculous this has actually become?
