Arrested again! Details on his Substack. This is beyond a joke; 5 armed officers!

I just got arrested again

I arrived back in London to discover the UK is still a police state run by trans activists

I feel so sorry for him. He's lost everything with this obsession.

I admire him for reminding men that they aren't women, and can never be women, no matter how much noise they make and how much they howl at the moon. Women don't have penises.

And it amazes me how transwomen seem to want to maintain male privilege and try to enforce it. Make your minds up, chaps.

Christinapple · 02/09/2025 11:14

He's already being sued for defamation by a gay man, and already has a charge for harassment and criminal damage against a trans woman, and threatened to kill women at a protest (which earned him a permanent ban on Twitter, before Uncle Musk brought him back).

He also sexually harassed and threated to drag a trans woman out a toilet by her "kinky boots". I'm disappointed he wasn't charged for that.

Multiple people, I was one of them, reported him to the police for his latest sexual violence threat to punch trans people in their genitalia.

The violent homophobe won't stop until he's in prison.

It's also not a good look for the GC community since apart from Jo he appears to be one of the "leaders".

Yawn.

There must be fathers up and down the land advising their daughters to "scream and kick him in the balls" if they find themselves trapped with a pervy man. Are all these dads "inciting sexual violence"? Should they all be dealt with immediately by armed police?

TRAs don't live in the real world.

What has to be present for this to be an arrest-able offence?

What do men change to ensure this mustn’t be said.

5 armed officers is crazy, if that indeed was the case.
Graham seems a very unwell, obsessed man to me. I can't support his actions. I don't support that kind of police reaction either though.

Edited

It’s almost as though a man who had an excellent career and was well-respected had a mental health event when he was cancelled and excommunicated due to having an unpopular opinion. Years later you are surprised he seems unwell and obsessed with the very thing that caused his life to implode?

I am not surprised at all. Historically people have been tortured and put to death for their rigid opinions. Nowadays you have your career killed instead.

Fimofriend · 02/09/2025 12:10

Meanwhile, the police cannot be bothered when women are being threatened, stalked, harassed.

If a female victim is raped and murdered the judicial system just declares that she liked rough sex and it was essentially her own fault. Even when current and former lovers say that she didn't like it rough.

Gloriia · 02/09/2025 12:10

Utterly ridiculous and batshit.

The comments were totally inoffensive and were not inciting anything.

Whoever acted on the complaint and ordered the arrest should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves.

From the Daily Mail article:

Linehan, 57, has shared the tweets which he says police arrested him over. One from April 20 said: 'If a trans-identified male is in a female-only space, he is committing a violent, abusive act. Make a scene, call the cops and if all else fails, punch him in the balls.'
A second tweet, on April 19, was a picture of a trans rally with the caption: 'A photo you can smell.' The third was a follow up to this tweet which said: 'I hate them. Misogynists and homophobes. F* em.'

This tweet is what @Christinapple is referring to as 'incitement to violence'

As PP have stated, the double standards are astonishling

It's madness the police would get involved with any of those tweets.

SabrinaThwaite · 02/09/2025 12:11

I’ve just had a dip into BlueSky, and it seems a certain SEEN Police Official etc etc account (run by a TiM ex copper sacked for gross misconduct) knows a lot about the complaint against Glinner.

Quelle surprise.

Wheresthebeach · 02/09/2025 12:01

This is truly frightening. Keep pic of child rape on your computer and walk free, threaten to kill/burn JK and nothing happens. Labour will only continue down this road.

Exactly. What a shit show.

TheCatsTongue · 02/09/2025 11:41

What has Graham Linehan ever said against LGB people?

I'm an LGB person and I can say with confidence that Graham has never said a word against LGB people. He's a great bloke.

RumNotRun · 02/09/2025 11:37

Of course not cause that's "freedom of speech". When Terfs do it though it is LITERAL GENOCIDE!!

Wouldn't that make @Christinapple the worst kind of hypocrite, though?

SerafinasGoose · 02/09/2025 12:17

That is fucking sinister.

Cosmosforbreakfast · 02/09/2025 12:17

Women's rights are being destroyed, women's identities are being destroyed. Men are calling for women to be assaulted, decapitated, have their throats slit, raped, murdered and their houses burned down for basically being realists, understanding basic biology and wanting to keep themselves and their children safe.

A man who has fought hard for us and lost so much fighting hard for us is arrested and brought to the verge of a stroke because he made a few jokes.

This is the fucked up world we live in and have to bring to bring our children up in.

I hope Graham is ok. I am very grateful to him for everything he has done and continues to do to support us.

Incredible. People post that and more on mn, for others usually, but still.

Oh well, if others are doing it, then it must be ok. 😕🙄

It's madness the police would get involved with any of those tweets.

It really is.

No wonder confidence in the police is so low.

You see far worse against women at any trans march. You see far worse against Jews too.

Signalbox · 02/09/2025 12:21

Christinapple · 02/09/2025 11:50

Yes, threatening to punch people in the genitalia is a sexual threat of violence. His other tweets per se may or may not meet the threshold (which is higher than the far-right make it out to be) for malicious communications but they give additional context for his threat that it is was made with hateful intent (in law this could become an aggravator making the crime worse)

"Of course not cause that's "freedom of speech""

From what I've seen so-called "free speech" seems to be something the far-right (including people who threaten/encourage/incite arson attacks against hotels housing immigrants) spend time complaining about.

Free speech does not belong to the far right. It used to be something that the left held dear. We’ve had several instances of those on the left making what you call “threats” not facing any repercussions for doing so. Do you agree that Ricky Jones should have been convicted or the numerous instances of trans activists making violent “threats” at trans demonstrations? Placards such as “decapitate terfs” or violent imagery including knives and guns? We really need to pull ourselves together in this country because our right to free speech is being slowly taken away and whilst at the moment it is largely those on the right being negatively impacted it will only take a change of government and a cultural shift for these same laws to be used against those of us on the left.

Are people arrested for it? Why not?

www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-15057371/Father-Ted-creator-Graham-Linehan-arrested-Heathrow-Airport.html

"A spokesman for the Met Police told the Mail 'The man in his 50s was arrested on suspicion of inciting violence. This is in relation to posts on X."

Apologies for the DM link, the story is new so there isn't much choice so far, but hopefully this should be a reminder to everyone that inciting violence is illegal. Including towards LGBT people.

Even those committing a sexual offence in women's changing rooms? Hardly innocent bystanders.

Tootyfilou · 02/09/2025 12:26

I would like to say its unbelievable, but when pensioners are arrested under the Terrorism Act for wearing a T shirt...
It's disgusting and frightening. Solidarity with Graham.

LBFseBrom · 02/09/2025 12:29

He certainly didn't appear to warrant that sort of presence (I've never heard of him before so don't know exactly what he tweeted and comedians are known to push boundaries), but I note in the above article he said, "In a country where paedophiles escape sentencing, where knife crime is out of control, where women are assaulted and harassed every time they gather to speak", and that is certainly not true. May have happened on occasion but is certainly far from the norm.

On my very short 'acquaintance', I do not particularly like him but that police business is certainly over the top.

Iamnotalemming · 02/09/2025 12:32

This is complete madness. Poor man. Who on earth directed that 5 officers with firearms go to get him? What was the rationale for that and I really hope his lawyers can find out.

did you also report all the "decapitate a TERF" and the "die in a grease fire" TRAs?

why not

He posts some questionable comments sometimes. But 5 police officers (presumably armed with a sidearm because Heathrow - so i have less issue with them being armed).

5 police officers. My mum was burgled and they just gave her a crime number. She's an elderly widow living alone. No police officers.

Stupid words? 5 fucking police officers.

TRAs are the absolute worst when it comes to hurty feelz, sod everyone else.

TangledUp679 · 02/09/2025 12:35

I used to be such a big fan of his 10 years ago, it’s sad to see what’s happened to him since then. I just hope he will leave all this behind him soon and get back to rebuilding his career.

3peassuit · 02/09/2025 12:38

I hope this makes it onto televised news, people need to be aware of this latest insanity.

Someone,.rightly or wrongly, made a decision to arrest him airside

That then means, airports being airports and Heathrow being Heathrow it wasn''t be done by a couple of coppers from Hounslow or Uxbridge police station, it was a task for the specialist airport police, who will be armed.

No idea why five but they do usually work as teams.
