Just to add, and this comes up on other threads, however beyond imagining the Met (and other police forces are) many of them are struggling to put into practice the legal lunacy politicians have created.
Look at Scotland and the hate speech.
And yes, the knee jerk reaction of the recent demonstrations about a name I wont use in case the police infiltrate FWR and arrest me.
Somewhere somebody has got to say this is the dividing line.
I totally agree that racist, sexist etc., rants can be challenged and depending on platform, deleted.
But points of view, political differences, shouldn't be resulting in this sort of fiasco.
Not only is it over the top, but clearly biased because as has already been mentioned on this thread, far more "insulting" tweets have and are made about women.
And I am sure some women tried to complain.
Can you imagine anyone of us being listened to by the airport (was it border) police and arresting some male as they got off a plane arriving at Heathrow.
In Glinner's sub stack article he talked about being bumped off his original flight, so not saying there is a conspiracy, but it is all really strange.
Who has that much ability to even get the police to listen to them, let alone got for a high profile arrest at an air port.
But maybe we could add this to the thread about I blame JKR for everything. ie setting up this shit show to illustrate just how demeted the rules as per Stonewall's law have become.
Maybe we should compile a list of the really vile things said about women, and threatening women on X and else where.
