Not strictly on topic, for which I apologise, but they'd be joining the hordes of other geriatrics arrested by the Met for daring to hold up cardboard signs in opposition to genocide.

I really do think the Met are a little like the middle manager who has nothing substantial to do so generates activity simply to look busy and justify their funding.

As for violent threats and degrading comments, the first and most obvious point is that people are allowed to offend you. Try as you might, you can't sterilise the world into never making fun of you as you go around stating that lesbians have dicks. And violent threat, we all know that you are constantly ignoring the avalanche of death and rape threats TRAs have been issuing for years, and the actual real life attacks, and that a joke tweet about self defence when a man won't leave the ladies' doesn't begin to compare. Honestly Chris, you'd do better at least to give it a small amount of lip service if you want a shred of credibility. I don't think you understand just how bad this one looks. At least I hope you don't because the alternative is kind of scary.

My question is: do armed police arrest every person who publishes a tweet that is violent towards women?

There are times like these where the fuck up, and even more the OPTICS of the fuck up are so monumental that it feels like it has to be someone working on the other side. The thought that this could have been signed off without a single person realising how monumentally wrong and utterly stupid it is, is just beyond me.

What is the evidence for these " real life attacks". I understand the concern about male strength in female spaces.....but the idea of real life attacks....I mean , how do you measure that. I've come across this before and it seems to be presented as if there are hordes of men dressed as women on every corner just waiting to pounce. I get the female.space thing. Physical space. But the ' real life attacks ' seem to.me to be ften deliberately framed so as to question the right of some.men to feel comfortable inside their own chosen head space. S sort of conflation if separate issues.

And OJ is aligned to Rupert Lowe and Ben the wine person, so everyone, absolutely everyone is now far right.

This is a very significant moment.

There was zero reason to arrest him at the airport.

Police arresting people for jokes absolutely isn't funny.

It's a topsy turvy world and no mistake. Not so long ago, if police were told of male perverts hanging around women's toilets, they'd drag them out of there quicksmart and charge them with trespass and public indecency.

These days, decent law-abiding citizens are arrested for even suggesting that such men shouldn't be allowed in the women's toilets...

But you'd think after the recent supreme court ruling, the police would be giving their heads a wobble. And more importantly, the politicians. The implications of the ruling are clear.

Now we need MPs to pass laws that recognise when cross-dressing men claim "they really are women", this is a matter of fraud and deception and should carry appropriate custodial penalties.

It's about time the entire "TWAW" brigade faced lawful arrest and serious jail time.
