I am definitely looking forward to the Bluestocking St Patrick's Day parade.

My booknook is nearly finished. However it comes with a sensor light which doesn't seem to work. This is annoying because it's supposed to come on when you walk past it. I could remove the sensor and wire the batter box to the lights directly, but it means removing a bit of wood from the front and I honestly can't be arsed.

I'll send pictures tomorrow.

In the meantime the next booknook arrived. I really should check the dimensions because it's about half the size of the standard ones. It still has some intricacies though, just shorter. Instead of a magic library or shop or street it is a Detective Agency.

I am finding myself slightly less enthusiastic about this next one. It's not the height. I think that whatever need I have that booknooking is filling, I might not need filling in the same way. Particularly if I get the job I interviewed for.

I got a weedburner flame thrower for Christmas. I've been gagging to use it. So, can I volunteer to be a demon!? Devil's food cake?

I've still got everything crossed for Myrtle. Might make operating stuff a bit tricky.

I'd normally go for some sort of armed-to-the-teeth helo, but I haven't the time to learn to fly one so an avatar with big menacing leathery wings would do me nicely.

It’s a pity Mr Dragon is manfully sticking to his healthy eating even on his birthday, I could’ve done him a lovely flambéed steak and crème brûlée.

(He had rather nasty eye problem flared up out of the blue about 3 weeks ago which is probably due to some sort of autoimmune thing so he’s taking anti inflammatory eating pretty seriously.)

I was in M&S today, & they seem to exist in a weird parallel universe in which Colin is a caterpillar & dachshunds are all called Walter - they were so damn cute that I nearly bought some just to look at (sadly the sugar content is waaaay too high for me).

Perhaps the gerbils could produce their own variation in our universe?

So the demon horde currently consists of:
One (1) magpie with severe conjunctivitis
One (1) terrifying bat-winged demonic avatar
One (1) homicidal hedgehog
And one (1) cake
Armed with multiple flamethrowers and considerable quantities of pissed-off-ness.
