I've only read about this on Twitter so there's a chance this is being taken out of context, but it looks like Let Women Speak were part of Tommy Robinson's rally in London this past weekend:

This doesn't sit right with me at all. I've been to LWS events and thought I knew what they were about. I've argued against the guilt-by-association tactics that some activists use against LWS when male intruders have turned up to the events, like the neo-Nazis in Melbourne.

But here we see the opposite, LWS deliberately attending far-right fascist marches. This seems inexcusable to me.

Have you read the bloody leaflet? There's not a single thing in it to disagree with.

Leaflets were being handed out at Marks & Spencers, John Lewis, H&M, Lily Maynard was there.

Is Lily Maynard a white supremacist, nazi, Hitler saluting, homophobic, racist now too?

Its about an associate of KJKs handing her leaflets out at a far right march. The optics are terrible. And your ostriching is something else.

They've gone from being "Let Women Speak" to "Get Violent Men Raging". I've been to LWS events and very much appreciated them but this is something totally different.

Maybe read what I wrote and argue against that rather than a lazy strawman?

How are we supposed to change people's minds if we aren't allowed to give them leaflets unless they already agree with us?

If I was a TRA I would be buying those leaflets hand them out at some event for football hooligans, conspiracy nutters etc and then come on MN and say "I'm as GC as they come, but I really don't like that KJK is associating with this group of people".

Rainbows are a sign of gay acceptance. LGBTQ is well accepted as an umbrella term for gay people. Pride month to most people is about gay acceptance.

Therefore most of the general public the branding of that leaflet (rainbow colors and "over the rainbow") makes it appear to be aimed at gay people.

"Is your child being groomed by the cult?" In big letters makes it look like "the cult" is gay people.

This is blatant homophobia in my opinion. Just gross.

You must've missed the numerous threads on here from lesbians saying that the Rainbow excludes them, pride month excludes them, LGBT excludes them.

Give them some leaflets that don't look like they are about gay people grooming children? Don't see far right marches as the ideal place to "spread the message"?

I can agree with more than one aspect malaga! Both are bad.

I was just kind of overlooking the rainbow stuff for the broader point, but giving them out at a TR march is kind of reverse forced teaming and I can not over look that. It is gross.

Have they handed them out at other marches? Say the 'Ceasefire Now' ones?
