Stonewall states that “misgendering” isn’t a crime

In an astonishing twist, Stonewall has stated that correctly sexing men is not a crime.

They are, of course, only admitting this now it’s been made very clear by Police Scotland’s reaction to JK Rowling.

They said nothing over the years as women were chucked off social media, for correctly sexing men. Not sure if anyone was actually arrested for only doing it, but they have allowed the fear to fester on and on, leading to chilling of free speech.

What a bunch of weasels they are.

I read this statement with interest. I expect the line will be that of course it isn’t a crime, it is just immoral. They cannot deny though that they have fed or at the very minimum, allowed this culture to develop. It reminds me of the ‘no one says they actually are the other sex!’ position they took. It lasted about 12 months before males did start again noticeably declaring they were female. Now it is a regular occurrence.

And for a while ‘born in the wrong body’ disappeared but it has snuck back too.

Agreed. I think this angle will allow them to keep enough collective cognitive dissonance in place (for now). The people who want to show the world how kind they are will hang on to this idea with both hands. They won't worry about the details e.g. it's the enforced belief (that we all have a gender identity) that's the issue, more/rather than the belief itself.

Maya's on the case:

Well done, Maya, I knew there would be receipts.

Weasels. Weasels everywhere.

nauticant · 04/04/2024 08:43

Collective noun:

A boogle of weasels; A confusion of weasels; A gang of weasels; A pack of weasels; A sneak of weasels.

Hope IW is reading and taking note...

I think gang of weasels works best with all the negative connotations that gang brings.

It's interesting that Stonewall took the approach of drawing an analogy with religion.

By doing so they accept that believing you have a gender identity is merely a sincerely-held belief, nothing more.

We need genderism tested against the Grainger principles. Someone just needs to define it, first.

The Stonewall Weasels: Misgendering was never illegal, we knew that all along! It was only ever like criticising a religion. Still, we all thought it was worth deplatforming, cancelling, banning and ruining all those who committed this non-crime! Getting courts and rozzers involved too, naturally! Ousting people from their jobs and public life. Turning a blind eye to rape threats, death threats, violence and doxxing of women. Forcing people to publicly repent if they step out of line and dare to question the ideology.

Yep, those weasels really are shameless.

Chersfrozenface · 04/04/2024 09:18

Someone somewhere really needs the nickname Seamas Wiesel..

GailBlancheViola · 04/04/2024 09:24

Good to know Stonewall, all that ridiculous my pronouns are shit can get in the bin where it should be.

They (and others) are only saying it now because JKR wasn't arrested and the police said there was no case to answer. Reverse ferret 101. If she had been their statements and posts would be significantly different.

ADoggyDogWorld · 04/04/2024 09:38

OMG.

Each day since 1st April has brought more boggle to the table, huh.

Dumbledoreslemonsherbets · 04/04/2024 09:47

I'm fairly sure one of kjks police interviews was about her calling a man with a feminine gender identity a man. Kate Scottows trial was basically about misgendering IIRC I doubt she'd have been ripped away from her family thrown in a cell and denied sanpro for a Twitter spat with a few insults with some random bloke? Can the police demonstrate they've taken similar punitive action against all equal Twitter spats? I doubt it. It was because of the trans complainant.

In Maya's appeal judgement there was something about how persistent misgendering could conceivably constitute harassment with IIRC no comment on who gets to make that judgement call nor on how fucking unbelievably difficult it is not to use normal, correct , English (with sex class based pronouns). So difficult that even total gender zealots can't manage it in court on multiple occasions despite the stakes (and their ardent desire to punish the unbelievers) - seen in Jo Ps, Rachel Meade's, Allison Bailey's, Denise Fahmy's Roz As cases from memory - am sure there are more. No one can keep up the gender based pronouns for long. All these women are sheroes.

So, no, correct sexing should not be a crime, but women have repeatedly been abused and harassed for not going along with the lying. It's been a classic case of Darvo and in many cases the police have punished women for doing so.

Goodness only knows how many women have been up on disciplinarians or lost their jobs due to misgendering.

It's phenomenal that essentially JKR has said, if you're going to abuse these less powerful women for doing this - knowing the pain, loss and stress so many women have been through then I will be there with them and you'll have to take me on too and the reverse ferreting has begun in earnest. She is so incredibly brave and a wonderful strategist too. The perfect moment.

Chersfrozenface · 04/04/2024 09:49

If you correctly sex a person, Stonewall says you're not a criminal, you're just a disgusting, hate-filled bigot who should be shunned and reviled.

I think that might be an accurate description of the current state of play.

True, but that shunning and reviling is harassment. Real harassment and until now, not recognized as such. Because of the real bigotry against middle aged women who speak up for reality, women and children.

ResisterRex · 04/04/2024 10:10

God they're as tiresome as they are despicable. Just FOTTFSOFAFOSM and do the entire country a favour.

Dumbledoreslemonsherbets · 04/04/2024 10:12

And just to add - misgendering might not be a crime but the police and many workplaces have been - in many cases - acting as if it were.

And the people to blame for that are Stonewall and their women-hating training. They directly have resulted in women being harmed.

So they can fuck off with their reverse ferreting now.

(SPAG question: one or two t's in 'ferreting/ feretting'? I feel like it should be two. Need to get it right as suspect I'll be using this phrase a lot in coming days and weeks)

Good point. The interesting issue is what is a belief and what is a fact. Facts about biological sex and chromosomes should never be called a belief when they ARE facts.

Edited

Exactly. They should issue an urgent recall on their advice (and scan of a "scheme") that's caused endless upset and division in workplaces then. And apologise to the (mostly) women who've suffered so much as a result of them and their desperation to trans gay children.
