Roz Adams was employed by Edinburgh Rape Crisis Centre (ERCC) as a counsellor. She is claiming constructive dismissal for Gender Critical (GC) beliefs. The CEO of ERCC is a well known transwoman known for, among other things, controversial "reframe your trauma" remarks.

So who is involving apprentices in disciplinary proceedings? Worknest or ERCC?

pronounsbundlebundle · 24/01/2024 10:57

Can we ask the Charity commission to launch an investigation into ERCC on the back of this testimony which clearly shows they're not fit for purpose and their POLICY is to discriminate on the basis of belief (and lie about reality to vulnerable rape survivors - so safeguarding breaches too).

Boiledbeetle · 24/01/2024 10:57

nauticant · 24/01/2024 10:55

Imagine that policy in a school. You have a defined age range for each year but parents put their kid into the school who then comes back home complaining their class is full of grown-ups identifying as 11-12.

In ERCC land

"suck it up Lucy love, those grown ups are entitled to be there as you. Stop thinking of yourself and affirm their age. You little bigot"

Boiledbeetle · 24/01/2024 10:58

Witness was Told apprentice made the error!!

Mmmnotsure · 24/01/2024 10:58

NC [reads from letter to RA, inc] If gross misconduct may be dismissed without notice or pay.

NC Corrected letter has that bit removed as well. Everything c possible consequence been removed. Not just 'gross' - a typo. That tends to suggest the decision to charge with gross misconduct was changed.

MS I was told it was a mistake

nauticant · 24/01/2024 10:58

MS: "What I was told" ... was what I based my response on.

OP posts:
HarpQuartet · 24/01/2024 10:59

NC leading witness through the letter: it wasn't just that one careless word "gross" slipped in, but an explanation later in the letter explaining the potential outcomes of gross misconduct. Not just a one-word slip.

pronounsbundlebundle · 24/01/2024 10:59

Given ERCC have a problem with understanding commonly understood words such as 'woman' - what would they do if a rape survivor said 'I was raped by someone with a penis, I want a counsellor without a penis and who has never had a penis'?

Who knows? Probably claim GDPR means we can't possibly know.

Boiledbeetle · 24/01/2024 10:59

Witness didn't speak to the disciplinary panel so as to keep the two processes separate

lechiffre55 · 24/01/2024 10:59

Between today and yesterday one thing is obvious - These witnesses are completely invested in TWAW even to the point of TW are female with no room for nuiance or acknowledgment of conflict arising from that stance. The is no wiggle room, or room for debate, or meet in the middle. They are all in on TWAW

pronounsbundlebundle · 24/01/2024 11:00

Interesting how they're throwing women under the bus in this ET and not the man in charge of all the policies. Almost as if sex matters...

Boiledbeetle · 24/01/2024 11:01

It's obvious something major went on at this point but no one seems to know anything

lechiffre55 · 24/01/2024 11:01

NC exposing that the "error" than is being presented as a minor slip is actually quite large and a lot more going on behind the scenes.

nauticant · 24/01/2024 11:01

MS: We are all volunteers. We all have day jobs.

She's being the most frank of them all. (So far.)

OP posts:
Mmmnotsure · 24/01/2024 11:01

NC We were told the gross misconduct bit was sent by ercc, and signed off by Worknest.

MS don't know.

NC Do you agree that the change is more supportive of change of heart interpretation than error interpretation.

MS don't agree. I don't know.

NC Was there a tussle within ercc c how to proceed.

MS Don't know. We are all volunteers, all have day jobs

pronounsbundlebundle · 24/01/2024 11:02

They are totally brainwashed and have drunk the kool aid. It's bizarre to watch.

It's as if they are arguing that gravity doesn't exist and NC is saying 'but we're all sitting here, not floating around, how do you explain that?' and they just say 'what you said is not true' even though it's obviously true.

Definitely, I imagine there is no chance of becoming an ERCC trustee if you are not fully on board with TWAW

So their policy is also that self ID is law in Scotland? Even when it isn't?

'There is no rape crisis service in Scotland that requires a gender recognition certificate. Where services are available to women only, women are not required to provide ‘proof’ of their sex. All rape crisis services in Scotland are inclusive of transwomen and have been for 15 years. In those 15 years, there has not been a single incident of anyone abusing this.'

From -
www.rapecrisisscotland.org.uk/news/news/rape-crisis-scotland-statement-on-the-open-letter-to-special-rapporteur-on-violence-agains/

And just to reiterate - ERCC and Rape Crisis Scotland also, shamefully, campaigned against the six words amendment of the Forensic Medical Services Bill.

To paraphrase Rabbie Burns -

'Bought and sold for Scottish Government gold,
What a parcel of rogues in this nation'.

Boiledbeetle · 24/01/2024 11:02

Witness I was Given template by hr of what to write

Waitwhat23 · 24/01/2024 11:03

And ERCC will simply not acknowledge that women self excluding from services is a problem.

Villagetoraiseachild · 24/01/2024 11:03

Trying to follow this. Could@nauticant please post the TT link, if that's where pp are following the case? Thanks.

musicalfrog · 24/01/2024 11:05

Thank you @Waitwhat23 that's shocking.

I think evidence of that being abused is plain for all to see now.

WANT TO WATCH INSTRUCTIONS

@lechiffre55 Told me how to get better video so updated joining instructions

Email: [email protected]

Ask for

Public access request RAdam v ERCC 4102236/2023

Mention you want video access, otherwise they'll email you to ask if you want video or attending in person access.

They'll send you an email with a link and a code and with 2 pdfs, one for watching on computer, one for tablets and phones.

Plus, want better video:

As you go through the process of logging into the meeting there's a settings button. Inside the settings there a bandwidth option near the bottom. By default it's set to medium. Setting this to high will give better video quality for those who have complained the video is too poor. It will use up more mobile data the higher it is set. I advise against setting it to ultra, high on home internet or wifi is great.

Appalonia · 24/01/2024 11:06

ERCC advised to apologise to Roz for accusations of transphobia
