Asking about Meeting between AB and Nico

AB had said to service user I'm non binary if you want to work with woman identifying person that's ok

'woman identifying person' Good grief

DH: turns to note of mtg Nico and AB. Reads - AB has said to su I'm nb, if you want to work with woman-identifying person that's okay. ['woman-identifying' that's what DH just said - surely can't be what's in note]

The trouble there is that a man is woman identifying at ERCC so potentially the service user could have ended up with the one thing she didn't want!

On to ABs demeanour - they were upset about the whole situation and being seen as the problem.

Oh, fucking hell.

And they expect traumatised women to have the capacity to navigate this crap in order to make sure they get counselling from a woman?

I've lost what they are on about

I can't get my head around the lack of empathy, compassion or even basic understanding of rape and trauma and boundary violation that means that staff would expect their service users to engage in these games. It's boggling.

A client wrote an email asking about the gender identity of a support worker.

The gender identity of a support worker other than AB had also been a question raised by a service user.

This, this, this.

Who the fuck do they think they are, and who the fucking hell do they think they are there for exactly??

It's a disgusting display of utter narcissism.

Only one NB support worker in the service at the time AB

KT This was a su being supported by a sw and asking the sw if they were a tw and wanting info c their gi.

How would you describe the tone of this meeting? Claimant was upset about being brought in fur second meeting and concerned about questions so difficult meeting
