Jesus this is slow

SirChenjins · 22/01/2024 12:29

They don’t employ men and service users can request a different counsellor Confused Does this witness fully understand why she’s there and what the case is about?

nauticant · 22/01/2024 12:29

The barrister leading the client through their evidence is slow. The fireworks start in cross-examination.

You do have to wonder!

DH - c data protection policy and how is KT able to ascertain date of policy passed.

KT says June 2018. No substantial revision since.

KT: we're in process of updating our policies atm. [bet they are]

Boiledbeetle · 22/01/2024 12:31

Are they on about the table that no one else had seen again

Mmmnotsure · 22/01/2024 12:31

The mysterious table again. KT can't remember seeing it.

ickky · 22/01/2024 12:32

KT: we're in process of updating our policies atm. [bet they are] 😅

I said exactly the same thing.

Boiledbeetle · 22/01/2024 12:32

Something about there would be minutes of the documents being passed

Poinsettiasarevile · 22/01/2024 12:32

What, the creche that is their Board

Boiledbeetle · 22/01/2024 12:33

On to her experience of disciplinary procedures - she doesn't have any particular training within ERCC

Appalonia · 22/01/2024 12:33

No experience in managing disciplinary matters.

Boiledbeetle · 22/01/2024 12:33

At that point

Mmmnotsure · 22/01/2024 12:34

DH : your involvement in disci interviews concerning RA. What exp at that point did you have in dealing with disc issues.

KT: No active exp in managing disc but had training in previous employment re disc and grievance. No training within ERCC at that point. Have had training since.

nauticant · 22/01/2024 12:34

Unsurprisingly KM has subsequently had training in grievance and disciplinary management.

Is this witness Roz's line manager?

Poinsettiasarevile · 22/01/2024 12:35

Note to you all, if you are ever asked to get involved in a disciplinary process, keep your own contemporary notes and ensure you ask for training if you havent had it.

Boiledbeetle · 22/01/2024 12:35

ickky · 22/01/2024 12:35

Is this witness Roz's line manager?

I think so.

Mmmnotsure · 22/01/2024 12:35

DH: you were a notetaker at a meeting and interviewed yourself at some point. Who asked you to take notes.

KT: MW. Nico also involved.

DH: Were you involved in starting investigation.

KT No - that's Nico's area

BoreOfWhabylon · 22/01/2024 12:37

Can someone let me know who to email so that I can watch tomorrow please? I've tried to find it but the thread's too long.

Mmmnotsure · 22/01/2024 12:37

KT I typed as close an account of the conversations as I cd into word doc and shared with both parties for them to agree to the record. That final doc went to Nico to be part of investigation.

DH: Who would you have shown notes

KT only Nico as investigating officer and person interviewed. No one else.

Poinsettiasarevile · 22/01/2024 12:38

I have chaired quite a few grievances in my time, over the last 5 years it seems the nature of them have shifted. Lots more focused around protected characteristics. It makes understanding the law and process even more important.
