On about the choice of support worker now

I'm still that MW was involved directly with service users.

DH:What input service user have into choice of support worker.

KMT Would take views into consideration. If unhappy with sw at any stage we'd reallocate sw

Saying that clients can change counsellors of it doesn't work for them for any reason

Yeah, they're going down the route of no complaints so far, I bet.

DH One support worker called AB was a su within EAS team. AB indicated they considered themselves nb.

KT: considered and decided ok for AB to continue role but to let su s know being supported by a nb worker.

AB (after non-binary pronouncement) 'could be employed as a woman under the exemption'

Currently about 50 watching. Although the panel had to interrupt the witness to tell someone to mute their microphone, the observers are behaving well so far.

KT decided we wouldn't share info c anyone's biological sex as is sensitive info. Wouldn't want personal info shared by any staff c member of staff.

This is why language matters as they are employing a man!

For a SINGLE sex service, I would have thought that it would be pretty important to share the sex of their support worker.

So, they don't see MW as a man but had to work out whether a woman who decided she was non binary could still be employed?
