Trans Ideology - a real life debate

Forester1 · 26/10/2023 19:11

So something that is far too rare - a proper debate

For me positions can be summarised as:

Mark Glenening - free speech paramount - and shouldnt have compelled speech
Helen Joyce - Single sex spaces are needed - males need to keep out - however they identify
Freda Wallace - Me, me, me, my sex life, me
Peter Tatchell - Akin to fight for gay rights, black rights. I don’t see any issues. Be kind.

DEBATE: Does transgender ideology threaten liberal values?

Debates surrounding gender identity have gained prominence in the last few years.Trans rights activists have argued that trans people have a right to be reco...

I think this may explain why there's a disconnect between trans women who think they pass and what women really notice. Because to me, Fred is an obvious man, a hulk of man, massive frame, massive hands, massive feet, loud, obnoxious, sex and self.

It was patently obvious that Fred is male, just look at the way he moved, as he grabbed his glass of wine, there was nothing remotely female about it.

AlphaTransWoman · 28/10/2023 01:58

I do feel sorry for Freda, and a big part of me wants to give her a hug and tell her that she doesn't have to be angry and that everything is going to be OK for her.

Whether she would appreciate that or not is another issue.

Only someone whose brain has been damaged and impaired to the intellectual and cognitive level of a 4 year old would seriously try to claim that clothes choices define who is a man or woman.
I dont believe Peter is impaired in that way otherwise he’d be demanding cutted up pear half way though the “debate”, he seems quite coherent other than the cult ramblings, he had the sense to try to get fw under control.
The clothes argument makes no sense to anyone with more than 4 brain cells, people wear different clothes all over the world so choosing certain closthes that fit the gender in your area surely proves gender is not inherent??
half of my family are Scottish, are the men actually women at wedding christenings and funerals?
many Muslim boys where I live are wearing long skirt type garments to go to madrasah in the evenings, nothing to do with gender, the girls are wearing similar but they have to go in the back door, ie everyone knows which sex everyone else is

Yeah? How's that love of and affinity for women working out for you?

Someone is sitting there exposing their genitals to the audience as part of their fetish and they are the ones these guys feel for?

And spitting venom at the only woman on the panel, and maligning all the women in the audience.

They just cannot help themselves.

And that's another reason why we know they don't really think they're women. As if we need another reason.

AlphaTransWoman · 28/10/2023 08:49

I stand by what I said. I think she is someone experiencing a lot of inner pain which is manifesting itself as poorly focussed anger.

EasternStandard · 28/10/2023 08:53

I don’t think we are addressing this pain in the right way.

The law underpins our pretence but it shouldn’t be the answer.

It isn’t for anything else.

You can stand for what you like, alpha. But doubling down on supporting the only man, when apparently it's your love of women that makes you a woman, is noted.

And not just any man, the angry misogynist who thinks women shouldn't have rights!

'they don't believe that I can be a lesbian, but any woman that is intimate with me, it's up to her how she describes herself - so when I fuck men with my female penis in fetish clubs that is my choice, it doesn't matter what you think'

Crikey, Fred.

Hopefully it matters what the men in the club think !

I think you are right, but the victims of this anger should get more sympathy by a factor of about a million.

The excuse of violent men everywhere.

There's no way Wallace thought that sort of statement would endear himself to women. It was said purely to shock. Not exactly the characteristic you want from a man in the ladies toilet.

I mean whether Peter is impaired, or not, I have to say, his choice of TRA to bring with, does reflects very badly on him.

Especially when most of his objection is that you can't generalise.

No-one has to generalise when Wallace is sitting right there!

Theeyeballsinthesky · 28/10/2023 09:04

I’ve no doubt that someone who behaves like Freda is clearly “not right” as we used to say

doesn’t give him an excuse to pour hatred on women and force himself into our spaces day in day out

IDontHateRainbows · 28/10/2023 09:05

Wallace was on twitter saying 'oops maybe that skirt was a bit too short' after so of course he knows what he's doing. He's having a right old laugh.

EasternStandard · 28/10/2023 09:06

This result was unleashed via the GRA

If a damaged male ends up impacting women it shows how bad the law is.

Isn't it the standard euphoria of transgressors who experience the delight of imposing themselves on unwilling spectators? The thrill of knowing that they're using other people's good manners and willingness to abide by the social contract against their own interests?

The scene of Magnussen and Sherlock's fireplace comes to mind. As does the real meaning of the Emperor with no clothes. He knows he's naked, he's enjoying the show of dominance of displaying his genitals in public, while compelling everyone to comment on how fine his clothing is.

Datun · 28/10/2023 09:09

Also, alpha, what happened to your contention that what makes a man a woman is femininity and submissiveness??

Or have you now decided it's inconsistency, a complete lack of logic and being wildly wrong about everything? 😁

Woman2023 · 28/10/2023 09:11

This is excruciating to watch, managing 5 mins at a time. Helen is absolutely brilliant at getting back to key points, e.g. that calling men he and him is nothing like using the n word.

Wallace is a total liability. FW did a debate against Sarah Phillimore on Twitter recently as was just as ridiculous and incoherent. Is this really the best they've got?

Girlontherailreplacementbusservice · 28/10/2023 09:11

I wonder if the womens centre that Peter hails as successfully integrating TW has reached out to the Muslim community to check if any women have self excluded. I wonder if it gives service users an anonymous way to feed back if they have been triggered by the presence of a TW. Or is the it all great there have been no problems literally just no-one has been raped or abused so all is OK?

Is there a link to that Woman2023?

AlisonDonut · 28/10/2023 09:13

We don't know if anyone has been raped or abused at a male inclusive centre because of a man because no men were there.

That's how it works.
