Cheers! Despite my username here, more UnrealityFan these last two days. Part of reason to get married is to work at balance in my life, that can be quite hard when my deep interest in our topic here is so, well, unbalancing.
Indeed, this is a common feeling I have now, the world feels unbalanced, as if a social contract is being forced on us, lobsiding our common understanding of the world, people, issues.
My wedge always was the frothy end of the phenomenon, getting cross with the individuals...Lia Thomas, Dylan Mulvaney, Freda Wallace/Miko Minio/Sarah Jane Baker etc.
But now I realise these individuals are almost like decoys. Their visibility and frankly batshit crazy actions soak up the energy of all of us fighting this tightening noose.
However the tightening noose are all the professional managerial classes/elites creed behaviour in campus/in academia, the civil service, health and schooling. And the relentless push to trans conversion bans, self ID, expanding the numbers and remit of GRA.
Freda Wallace is just the equivalent of a Molotov Cocktail thrown at GC barricades. Who's doing the throwing? And what bigger measures are they taking?
Because I think MN will effervesce once Labour win, and their quota driven program comes into being. We'll see the professional managerial classes absolutely strut their stuff from late 2024. Freda Wallace will be a footnote for 2023.
