Tunnocks Thread 2

The question asked in Thread 1 has still not been answered satisfactorily, and so the quest continues to discover which side of the fence Tunnocks are on or whether they are in fact sat atop the fence throwing Snowballls and Tea cakes at both sides.

I have no idea where the link below will send you. hopefully to the original thread and at the start, but it could be a completely different thread half way through. I'm too full of sugar to concentrate properly!

Should have a continent wide growing contest, could be called the Eurovision Thong Contest. Imagine all the disappointed men tuning in.

Thank you. She's expected to fail a few of them. It's a long upsetting story that I won't go into but if she gets anything apart from English Language it will be a miracle. My own results day involved some unexpected Es, a lot of K cider, a lot of rain and vomiting after the aforementioned K cider. I later went on to replace those Es with an A in the same broad subject in a university midterm exam. I did get Bs for English literature and language though although I'm still not sure if Es and Bs should have an apostrophe. My instinct says not. Or should that be no? It's too late in the day for grammar.

It's just spite now. As ever was.

Do you think Caramel logs might be in the sweetie section? Or are they definitely with the biscuits?

I got kicked of eng lit and language for cheating! Not my finest moment! But as most adults assumed I'd be in prison by 20 no one was particularly surprised!

So you can imagine the joy I have trying to decide whilst editing vol two if something has a coma, an apostrophe, and can I fuck work out when it's supposed to be : rather than ; or - . I must be a masochist!

I did end up after doing vocational what would now be nvqs? But was then btech and an apprenticeship (YTS) before doing a Bsc degree though so it proves gcses aren't the be all and end all. And there can be basis routes to get to where you want to get to!

I will say despite my cheating and kleptomaniac tendencies I eventually turned out to be a decent human being .

nicks a caramel wafer off the side whilst you're putting the milk back in the fridge.

I know! He's obviously that overwhelmed he's just going for the easiest and most familiar targets in order to get the little rush of being in control back.

I nearly got kicked off my degree for hacking into the results database. Only reason I didn't is because I didn't change anything as they'd given me an A 😄. Norty women!

The threads may be gone, and may never get reinstated, but they will live on in the memories of all those who read, and saw the contents!

If someone thinks the collective memory of mumsnet can get deleted as easily as a thread they would be very wrong!

I appear on the surface a nice respectable middle age woman!

However the scally child still remains!

Not being one for illicit substances I can't say for certain, but I wouldn't be that surprised that mixing K cider with a couple of E's led to you throwing up.

Chersfrozenface · 24/08/2023 02:50

WTF is K cider?

In my day it was Woodpecker, consumed, under age, sitting on a milk churn stand.

Because I'm really ancient, and rural in origin.

OMG why didn’t you say that 2 threads ago? I can’t wait to go in the morning now. I hope I’m not going to be disappointed.

Sorry, back to catching up now, as you were

Somanyquestionstoaskaboutthis · 24/08/2023 18:56

Cheap cider in the woods with a realisation I maybe should have revised.
I hope teenage Cervix did ok and is out celebrating, maybe not with cider though.

Where exactly have you been looking for them? they are multipacks of chocolately things, wouldn't the logical place be the aisle with the chocolately multipack things?

I, unsurprisingly did not revise at all, not even for five minutes, for my GCSEs! Probably would have done better if I'd a) attended lessons and b) revised

Ooh, get you with the Woodpecker - we got White Lightning as it was the cheapest. Or alternatively, Buckie 🤮

Somanyquestionstoaskaboutthis · 24/08/2023 19:38

I looked with the teacakes and caramels, because that’s the Tunnocks bit. I’ve long since given up with the ‘ in Tunnocks.

I turned up to lessons because I was too chicken not to, I just didn’t listen much.
It didn’t help that our maths and chemistry teachers both thought girls should not be doing their subjects. And we had strikes.

Boiledbeetle · 24/08/2023 19:41

I've just started eating a tea cake.....

Its...

You have a Tunnocks bit? They are just shoved on the shelf at mine and left to fight it out with the twixes!

Disclaimer I've only been in the actual store twice since the start of covid so do not have reliable up to date store layout information

I had an old chemistry teacher like that!. Now the biology teacher, I'm fairly sure (95-99%) my biology teacher was shagging ones of the lads in my year fairly regularly in the science store cupboard

Well they get to sit together on the top shelf with the other hardcore biscuit type goodies.

I’m positive our biology teacher was shagging one of the lads in my year too. And the PE teachers were having an affair.

CervixSampler · 24/08/2023 20:00

It's not been a good day in the 'vix household. Early night I think. Day 2 of Tunnocks detox now.

See attached for K cider.
