The question asked in Thread 1 has still not been answered satisfactorily, and so the quest continues to discover which side of the fence Tunnocks are on or whether they are in fact sat atop the fence throwing Snowballls and Tea cakes at both sides.

I have no idea where the link below will send you. hopefully to the original thread and at the start, but it could be a completely different thread half way through. I'm too full of sugar to concentrate properly!

I was very disappointed when I went to Tesco and they only sold boxes of 6 instead of 10. I had to buy a lot more boxes

I have a withdrawal headache.

Arrives with a hot flannel for the forehead (Ice packs available on request) and pulls a tea cake out of one pocket and a foUr pack of caramel wafers out the other.

So 5 boxes of 6 to get the same amount as if you'd been buying ten packs?

I've just eaten some weird Polish garlic sausage, Kabanos? I think it was made from the leftovers from porcine gender confirmation surgery.

Mmm Polish sausage. I love a soft buttered roll filled with sliced Zywiecka, sliced pickled gherkins and German mustard. Apart from that, I have a terrible confession to make. I hate coconut and caramel so if isn't a teacake, I'm not interested.

DH has faxed a Zywiecka roll to you. I'm looking forward to the Teacakes. I prefer the dark chocolate but I'm not fussy.

Don't worry. The Zywiecka that DH sent might have been a bit of Krakovska instead. The gherkins were genuine Polish ones though and the mustard came from Dortmund.

There's good news and there's good news that's bad news for my healthy eating plan:

I have a supply of caramel wafers
I've found the glue gun
I've eaten 6 caramel wafers.

Munches on gherkin, wipes gherkin juice off top. It's very nice Jane.

My grandad called it Shiveeka but with more of a Z than a S. I have found a lump of Wiejska (the one that looks like cogwheels when you slice it) in the fridge. It's got more garlic than Zywiecka but it is still very smokey.

I've had to write myself a note to add polish sausage onto the shopping. and gherkins... and butter and crackers, and some nice cheese and some pickled walnuts whilst Im at it. I may be having a "picky tea" week next week

i definitely need some more savoury food next week, I have been overdosing ever so slightly the last few weeks on sugar. God knows why.

You may want to consider a jar of horseradish with beetroot. Its a bit sweet from the beet but seriously hot at the same time. Available in any Polski Sklep.

I love horseradish, lightly garnished with roast beef. If it makes your nose stream, even better.

Horseradish goes in the same pile as kitkats, lemon drizzle cakes and dark Tunnocks I'm afraid. and you can add that odd gloopy stuff that comes with scampi in pubs.
