The question asked in Thread 1 has still not been answered satisfactorily, and so the quest continues to discover which side of the fence Tunnocks are on or whether they are in fact sat atop the fence throwing Snowballls and Tea cakes at both sides.

I have no idea where the link below will send you. hopefully to the original thread and at the start, but it could be a completely different thread half way through. I'm too full of sugar to concentrate properly!

Happy new year everyone, I know I’m slightly late to the party with that one! Loving your sampler boiledbeetle, a very good looking beetle there.
Dull mens club over on fb were discussing viscount biscuits yesterday and quickly got on to how good Tunnocks are. So they must all be secret terfy mumsnetters. I am dull but not a man.

Bizarrely I have been forced to eat Viscounts this week as the Caramel wafers didn't arrive

Proof of my disloyalty! I will say they seem to have shrunk considerably, they must have a i was forced to eat 3! and the mint bit is now tiny.

Viscounts remind me of swimming in the local freezing outdoor pool as a child, get in the water whilst screeching, half heartedly swim up and down for a few minutes so you could say you did it, then out to sunbathe with a viscount and a hot chocolate. And they were huge, I’m very sad that you have to eat 3 at a time now. (Typing whilst eating 2nd of 3 teacakes and drinking coffee)

Was in a B&M yesterday. Couldn't find any Tunnocks 😞 there was a package of pretender teacakes....with cherry jam! Reader, I left them.

When I was a child, my mum used to buy Club biscuits - we got one after lunch at the weekends. My sister and I realised that, if we were careful, we could unwrap the biscuit and carefully fold up the empty wrapping and put it back in the sleeve, then swap my dad’s biscuit with the empty one, as a joke. We did it so many times, and to his credit, he laughed every time.

I wouldn't worry, they'll bring her back. And don't be surprised if an alien reviews (5* out of this world) UTDOD in the near future.

Burton's customer services department have confirmed (1 October 2014) that they no longer manufacture the orange-flavour Viscount biscuits.

Can you not give up lettuce instead?

I have given up English asparagus. I love asparagus so this is a huge sacrifice or would be if it didn't come into season until April.
