Tunnocks Thread 2

The question asked in Thread 1 has still not been answered satisfactorily, and so the quest continues to discover which side of the fence Tunnocks are on or whether they are in fact sat atop the fence throwing Snowballls and Tea cakes at both sides.

I have no idea where the link below will send you. hopefully to the original thread and at the start, but it could be a completely different thread half way through. I'm too full of sugar to concentrate properly!

I have been attempting to eat the same Tunnocks tea cake for three days.

I have admitted defeat and thrown it in the bin!

I'm hoping the new arrivals today aren't a dodgy batch as well!

Nothing book or Tunnocks related but...

I have spoken to Pals, or whatever they call themselves these days about Mr Legs. I love it when they sound genuinely shocked on the other end of the phone!

I've told them what happened in full, said they can deal with him and the department over the general level of fuckwittery, all I want out of this is a do over of the appointment with a different consultant. One who can actually tell me what they found and preferably not lead with death statistics about something that may or may not be related to what they found and not flash body parts at me!

And now I wait!

While I would love to hear that Dr. Legs has had his arse handed to him on a plate, I would rather hear that you have seen a competent consultant who has provided a sensible diagnosis and a treatment.

Yeah I've said I want a second opinion/new appointment with a different consultant. Told them I'm even happy to do it by phone if it's easier (wouldn't want to putt barriers in their way after all)

I did point out that if a male patient had been discussing his illness and mentioned something about his left nipple it wouldn't be acceptable for a female consultant to whip her left boob out and start talking about her breasts and that him with his legs was no different. It was not appropriate behaviour in front of a patient.

Oh to be a fly on the wall for that conversation!

On book news the proof has been printed and has left Germany. (God knows why they couldn't print it in this country)

It's cheaper, just be grateful they didn't send it to Poland! The cover would be all smudged.

A few years ago, I worked in a place which printed food packaging and other stuff. They "saved" tens of thousands by sending tea boxes to Poland and eventually, they came back to the UK.

I flew back from Isle of Man on Loganair. They handed out free Tunnocks caramel wafers 1/2 way through the flight.😍

@CervixSampler if you haven't already, you could point out to your DD that Dylan could end up with a child (through surrogacy as Dylan could afford it and it's so fashionable in the US and in Dylan's circle) and would undoubtedly make the
child call Dylan 'Mom'.

I missed what you actually said, but the thought of someone being on Tunnocks duty does make me titter!

I've amazingly just had an apology from the general manager from the vascular unit. Very nice person. Was rather agasht at the whole thing after I'd gone through it from start to finish again!

Outcome at moment is I think the staff will be getting a general wtf? Do better talk. The manager will be talking to the consultant about appropriate behaviour in front of patients and they are trying to see what the quickest way to get me an answer to my questions i is so could end up having to wait for an appointment with someone else but they are trying to see if the consultant will need to see me or if he can review my notes and just have a phone call.

Considering i was expecting it to take up to ten days for them to get back to me I'm rather surprised.

So who knows by Christmas i might find ouut what a scan i had in the summer found!!

Apparently the two individuals I des river were at risk of being identified out of thousands of train staff in this country and visitors to Lego Hmm and its uncivil to say that abusing children isn't ok. Involving them in your delusions is ok. Nothing to see here, move along. Sad times for the truth. I thought we'd moved past that with Maya's ruling but obviously mumsnet bow down to the monitors. Unless you report any xenophobia or similar about anyone in the white or English or British community. That's ok too. One should challenge those posts instead of reporting 🙄
