Tunnocks Thread 2

The question asked in Thread 1 has still not been answered satisfactorily, and so the quest continues to discover which side of the fence Tunnocks are on or whether they are in fact sat atop the fence throwing Snowballls and Tea cakes at both sides.

I have no idea where the link below will send you. hopefully to the original thread and at the start, but it could be a completely different thread half way through. I'm too full of sugar to concentrate properly!

I was just stopped in Asda and asked if I knew <points to shopping list written by his caree judging by his uniform and the elderly handwriting> and it was Tunnocks wafers! Yes sir, they have excellent taste, let me show you the way to the glorious caramel wafers. They are delicious, you should try them. Of all the people in Asda to ask he asked me and I didn't even have any in my basket at that point and we were over near the bread. Of course I put two packs in my basket to demonstrate I meant what I said about being delicious. I need to go and eat one five now to round off the day.

I have run out of all Tunnock’s goodness, so had to resort to a Nutella sandwich. But I’m straight off to the Sainsbury’s order, to add all the Tunnock’s products I can find.

I've discovered why they're called Tunnocks. Well, two possible reasons actually.

Either because one puts on a ton in weight, or because one ends up looking like a little tun or barrel.

I've just tried on a couple of dresses I need to wear in a week or so's time and it's no Tunnocks for the foreseeable. And no, I can't afford new dresses.

It is a far, far better thing that I do...

B&M!!! Popped in to see if they had some inexpensive plants (they did but they were sooooo underwater they were dying), as was walking through the biccy section I thought to check their Tunnocks selection. They only feckin' well had caramel logs!!!

In other news, I've decided the best way to eat teacakes is to unwrap the bottom. Bite off and eat the biscuit. Then stuff the fluff and chocolate in your gob.

I am running low on Tunnocks supplies as they only sent one single solitary packet of caramel wafers in my shop this week, due to me forgetting to update my hold the slot basket!! But I can't go to the corner shop for any as I'm currently coughing and ill and don't want to take one of the covid up the nose thingys that are in the other room! so I'm just refusing to leave the house until I stop coughing and sweating!

I have mental picture of you scribbling feverishly (probably with a quill) on a dirty piece of parchment by the light of a guttering candle.

Re. ROTLA, when Marion's character is introduced she says (approx.), 'I was a child, you knew it was wrong!' I think IJ was her dad's intern. So, he was not a child. And why does everyone in that film seem to have spare white gowns lying around?

Its been many many many many years since i watched Raiders of the Lost Ark - I will have watched it at the pictures! im not sure if I watched it since the 1980s! so im not much help!

I was fine on Monday, had a choice of doing the poems or cleaning the kitchen, chose the kitchen option then by Monday evening I was coughing slightly! Oh to go back to coughing slightly! I very much doubt it's anything other than a shitty cold, as I'm feeling better. I can go a whole five minutes now without sounding like im trying to cough up a furball!

my candle is burning low though, the wick nearly exhausted. I'm just off to slaughter another pig to render the fat for the next batch!

Caramel logs! Wasn't expecting coconut, so made a bit of a mess opening the first, and the second, and the.....well, let's just say I'm not a fast learner. Very nice though.

The cuddly water bear? I think it's Temu. Their ads have been spamming everyone. I'm not remotely tempted. Not clicked their links not going to download their app. I think that's why they're trying to terrorise me with hairy belly bum bags. Thing is I can get that effect just by letting my t shirt ride up.

I'm going to the seaside tomorrow and think I'll take The book on the train with me. It's 6 trains in total so plenty of opportunity for flashing it about.

Just adding to this thread that I have managed to purchase Dark Chocolate Tunnocks Tea Cakes from Homebargains for a second time, so it is definitely worth having a good look at the shelves if you are there.

Blame my sister. I ring her, she doesn't answer. Now, if I take my fone with me to a different room, she doesn't ring back. BUT if I leave my fone in the living room and move to the room that is furthest away from it, she will ring me back almost immediately. Which means lots of things get abandoned along the route so that I can get to the fone before it goes to voicemail.

One day i will work out where in my house she had hidden the camera!

I had a birthday trip out to home bargains last month and caught myself many a Tunnocks product.

I was very nice and didn't buy any of the dark tea cakes. Because I haaaaaaaaate am a kind and considerate person who always puts others first.

And @CervixSampler 6 trains! Fuck me! But woo hoo yes get that book flashed at every opportunity!
