All of our shops teams have access to training to ensure we are able to offer inclusive and welcoming fitting experiences for everyone:
• Fitting those who identify as transgender, nonbinary, and gender non-conforming
• Fitting neuro-diverse customers
• Fitting customers with a physical impairment

Blurb from Bravissimo's diversity statement, notice that being transgender is top trumps.

Well of course it is.

Nothing more important for a bra shop than serving the menz.

I’d just like to add that when I was in the changing room at Bravissimo about a year ago I heard a male voice. When I came out I saw a man in a dress waiting to be “fitted”. He was focussing on the poor young girl fitter in a hijab specifically. Extra points for extra discomfort?

Really sad to hear that Bravissimo don’t prioritise women’s safety. I was going to take dd there but we’ll go elsewhere then.

Radley bags went into administration https://metro.co.uk/2026/05/28/major-high-street-brand-close-shops-bought-poundland-owner-28550907/

Shame for the workers and the suppliers that aren’t going to get paid but as someone who bought a number of Radley bags as I had to look smart for work I stopped buying from them after they went publicly trans and Stonewall supporting a few years ago. If your primary customers are women don’t support women hating ideology. I don’t imagine enough women boycotted them over that to make a difference but yet again senior decision makers supporting ideology that has no relevance to your brand turn out not to be great at making business decisions.

Major high street brand to close all shops after being bought by Poundland owner

Luxury accessories brand Radley is set to close its stores by September following a buyout by Poundland owner Gordon Brothers.

This article mentions Lego as a boycotted brand! What did Lego do?

Thd dc will be deveststed if I start boycotting Lego.. They were pissed off when I cut out Innocent smoothies but are happy now to have the Tesco ones are as an alternative & can't taste the difference..

I may have to change my online moniker to "savaged by bigots"

A huge problem is that marketing professionals are a relatively homogenous group themselves and are surrounded by people who are knee deep in this nonsense.

More problematically many have forgotten that their fundamental job is to understand their target market and deliver to their requirements, rather than their own.

Certainly true of John Lewis and m and s - completely clueless to try to suck up to the loony lefty wokerati i would have thought - but they've lost me, especially as Waitrose coffee machines never seem to be working any more, it was the free half decent coffee that hooked me in.

It looks like they partnered with Stonewall on Pride from 2021

And as recently as 2024 had a “pride collection”?!

And they wonder why women with the budget to buy these bags went elsewhere?! LOL I’d get a total roasting if I turned up at work with a little girlie rainbow baggie 🤣

How could they drift so far from their middle aged target market?!

I was a bit disappointed to find out that Dock & Bay have donated to Stonewall, although I don't know if they're still partnering with them. I always found Stonewall's mantra of "acceptance without exception" a bit sinister. Were they pushing for a world which would have forced us to accept anyone in any space?

duc748 · 11/06/2026 23:44

Short answer, yes, I think. This is the brave new world they'd like to see.
