I've explained this to you umpteen times Merlin. It's probably on this thread, it's on many others, you have been exposed to this reasoning and line of thought. I'll try it one more time, slowly.
LGBT used to mean people who had the one characteristic in common of being homosexual. They were politically diverse.
Through the capture of Stonewall et al, LGBT is now a descriptor of TQ+ political beliefs. It is now a group of people who have the one characteristic in common of TQ+ political beliefs. There is no political diversity tolerated. They are of all sexualities, straight included.
Homosexuals and trans people who have not conformed have been excluded, threatened and are not welcomed at LGBT events. This permits the lobby to claim that they represent the voice of all LGBT people because they have disposed of the ones saying inconvenient things like 'no' and 'I don't agree' and 'this is homophobic'. Hence the rage at the LGBA forming.
It suits the political goals of the TQ+ political lobby to frame themselves as representing all LGBT people for purposes of funding and more importantly of political control.
So. As a homosexual, yes obviously, I have a problem with companies claiming to (or innocently believing that they) support homosexual people, when they are doing it through the marketing and beliefs of a group who believe that I should be raped and battered for refusing to provide sex to straight men who identify as women. They are not supporting homosexual people. They are supporting the suppression and colonisation/exclusion of homosexual people.
