Shocking scenes in Auckland, TRA pours liquid on KJK

I'm not even sure what to say about this, I just find it really shocking.

Baying mobs surrounded the intended event, one got onto the podium and poured red liquid all over KJK and KJK had to be removed amidst a huge crush.

I hope everyone is OK.

this level of violence is not the sign of a healthy, tolerant country that can deal with a plurality of opinion

If people have to resort to violence to make their point it says a lot about them. Shocking but let's be honest, not unexpected from that group.

So one group was protesting against the sexualisation of children and the other came out in support of that?

I have no idea who this person is, or what this dispute is about, but no, you dont pour soup on people, particularly if it is not known to be soup, and could be thought to be acidic, or corrosive or dangerous in some way.

This is a very serious assault, and could be seen as a death threat, or causing someone alarm and distress in thinking that they have been contaminated with something deadly

For giving a speech? No one deserves this

I suppose one good thing that has come out of this horror is that our resident misogynists are no longer pretending that they aren't. The pleasure they're taking in seeing women being assaulted and terrified by hordes of angry men is laid bare for all to see.

It's disgusting behaviour and there's something wrong with anyone who thinks that is acceptable. It just makes me think of Katie Piper and what a terrifying thing it would be to have an unknown substance thrown at you. Just pathetic and disgusting.

Our rights are not yours to give away to people who don't need them. No matter how they identify, men never have a miscarriage, or need an abortion, or have to manage menstrual flooding all over their clothes.
Men can be raped in a prison, but cannot find they then also have to manage an unwanted pregnancy.
