Shocking scenes in Auckland, TRA pours liquid on KJK

I'm not even sure what to say about this, I just find it really shocking.

Baying mobs surrounded the intended event, one got onto the podium and poured red liquid all over KJK and KJK had to be removed amidst a huge crush.

I hope everyone is OK.

The news coverage has been shocking.

They clearly amped people up the day before. They keep calling her an anti trans activist. And then straight after that, one channel had a lady with the rainbow banner talking, telling everyone to congregate and drown out the event. How is that not inciting violence? These news agencies should be charged, they're as guilty as the violent protesters. They set it up.

Lots of the protesters probably don't have a clue about why posey is even there. Just gone along thinking she's a fascist because the news said so.

And where are the transwomen who are happy to be called transwomen and recognise biological women's right to safe spaces? They do exist. Funny isn't it that they either aren't speaking out or...just aren't being heard either.

Mezmer · 25/03/2023 13:45

We need to start with the handmaidens. The women who stick up for this shit in some type of deluded idea that they are being progressive are who to connect with.

Barry (below) is trying so hard to reach the gay community. Give him your support. He does a daily blog on TRA and critical social justice which is exceptionally addictive.

This poster is living in lalaland when it comes to genderwoo.

Spent ages arguing that ‘Mx’ has been on passports for decades, despite passports not having any titles on them at all 🤷‍♀️

I agree with previous posters that women aren’t responsible for male violence (although women are ocassionally complicit in male violence, eg murder for hire).

Nonetheless there is undeniable safety in numbers, and some self-identified ‘feminists’ have been desperately trying to isolate KJK for years (eg starting threads on here that deliberately misrepresent KJ’s opinions and encouraging Mumsnetters to denounce KJ based on their disingenuous ‘evidence’).

Those of us who have resisted the bullying tactics and refused to denounce KJK have been smeared as ‘Farage Feminists’.

What other public campaigner has had liquid thrown over them? Oh yeah. Nigel Farage.

Soup is the new milkshake, innit?

Throwing a liquid over someone because you don’t like their opinions is always unacceptable, no matter how vehemently you disagree with that person’s views.

Has there ever been a politically motivated liquid throwing incidence that hasn’t come from ‘the left’?

Good point. I've never heard of a right wing activist or religious fundamentalist throwing milkshakes or ketchup.

They go straight to stabbing and shooting people instead. But this left/ right stuff is irrelevant here.

It is awful what happened to KJK and I hope she is okay. She must be pretty shaken up.

I think it's a bit rich of her to blame what happened in NZ on left wing feminists in the UK. If they weren't on the other side of the world they would have absolutely had her back. We are all united in opposing violence against women. The left wing feminists have had many dealings with angry TRAs. They would never condone that behaviour.

I don't think it's fair to blame women in the U.K. either.

They didn't have our backs in Brighton though. They blamed us for the wrong people standing peacefully watching the speeches and ignored the scary aggression of the anti-women protestors.

The women who support KJK are not aggressive.

The aggression entirely comes from young thugs whipped up by an ideology that tells them language is violence so they respond to language with violence.

I am very happy to see all women, including those detractors, condemning the aggression in NZ.

Those who contributed to that factually incorrect news coverage are part of the problem.

Bitching on Twitter that Rosie Duffield has Liked a Tweet from Graham Linehan taking the Royal Piss out of trans lovey fave Suzzzeeee Izzard.
Yep, the contrast couldn't be sharper.

I don't know how she remains is that party, Starmer is like Corbyn instead of attacking Jews he presides over attacking women and children.

HagoftheNorth · 25/03/2023 14:08

KJK says “Let Women Speak” and NZ replies “No”

The misogyny shouts loud and clear

The speakers aren’t vetted as far as I know, any woman who wants to speak to explain why transwomen should be allowed in women’s spaces is free to do so. Their inability to bring forward a coherent argument speaks volumes

Boomboom22 · 25/03/2023 14:09

It would be so amazing if the truth about this spread so women in this constituency vote her right over starmer. Assuming it's a safe labour looney left seat that anyone labour could win if the potnetial pm is sitting there? So she might be too centre right to do this. But I so so wish she would win the seat!

HagoftheNorth · 25/03/2023 14:12

I’ve never actually heard KJK speak about anything other than this, but she said in an interview with Magdalene Berns that she was a left wing feminist. That was from 2018 tho…… things change I guess??

Mummyoflittledragon · 25/03/2023 14:19

That news coverage was shocking. The wording used, the amount of coverage for rainbow flag protesters was through the roof. No attempt to understand why KJK and protesters coming out in her support were saying, no attempt to interview them. No coverage of what was said at the rally etc… or were the women unable to speak? I haven’t watched KJK’S footage yet.

nzborn · 25/03/2023 14:23

Ashamed to be a Kiwi

Boiledbeetle · 25/03/2023 14:25

This is her message.

It's a factual statement of biology.

No one should be subjected to what those women were subjected to yesterday for believing this fact.

oakleaffy · 25/03/2023 14:25

These aggressive, boorish TRAs are precisely why many women ( and men) are against the whole unpleasant scene.

oakleaffy · 25/03/2023 14:28

Women ARE “Adult, human females”

Can’t see why people are getting into a bate over it.

I really hope KJK is ok and all others there.

I'm sick to the back teeth of the lie she's 'anti-trans' in the media she's not, she's pro women and children. Not giving in to trans people's every demand - demands like access to opposite sex spaces which take the right to dignity, privacy and safety away from so many women and children - is not 'anti-trans'.

That's like everyone being 'anti-di' bigots because they won't facilitate my belief that I'm really a billionaire who should get everything for free with my imaginary money.

oakleaffy · 25/03/2023 14:33

Blaire White, A TW speaks a lot of sense.
Blaire often interviews De- transitioners - and speaks out about predators ( ofren grinning maniac types) in the trans scene who target vulnerable young teens.

The media in Australia and New Zealand are complicit in this happening and violence against women. By uncritically repeating the lie that she's 'anti-trans' they are whipping the hard of thinking up into a frenzy.

They bring shame upon journalism.

Xoxoxoxoxoxox · 25/03/2023 14:45

Aukland pride saying that threats against KJK are a ‘baseless rumour’ have elicited a response from J.K.Rowling- ‘your men’s rights activists showed the world exactly who they are’..

Whaeanui · 25/03/2023 14:46

I love JKR so much! What a woman!

dimorphism · 25/03/2023 14:47

I doubt very very much that KJK has blamed women in the UK for the attack, she's not that dim. The only people to blame for the attack are those actually attacking, and hopefully they will be arrested (do we know this yet?).

I suspect what she might have said is that supposedly feminist women in the UK constantly painting KJK as 'far right' or 'aligned with far right groups' which is what they did at Brighton, with no good reason, contributes to the whipping up of the TRAs and also the extreme left wing who do attack her physically.

The propagation of the lie that she's 'anti-trans' and 'far right' really plays into the TRA hands and antifa type groups.

Many people now really believe she's far right because this lie has been uncritically repeated by so-called feminists in the UK and many so-called journalists. She's not, if you look at the evidence, and reality, and facts, but some people take things at face value and don't have time to do their own research.

And anyone who's gone along with that lie knowing full-well it's a lie, just because they don't like KJK, well I hope their conscience is given them some trouble right now (if they have one).

CarryMeOut · 25/03/2023 14:48

@HagoftheNorth Not true. The mic has been taken away when someone said trans rights are human rights. It is only people who supports what Posie says who can speak at her events.

The violence is wrong. But the stewarding is woeful. There should have been far more stewards here. A very badly organised event that was always going to put Posie and other women at risk.

dimorphism · 25/03/2023 14:50

Oh I love JKR so much. She's so brilliant with words (I mean, I know, duh, but it's very impressive).

Justme56 · 25/03/2023 14:55

Brendan at Spiked has written a good article on Posie today. It’s on Twitter but I’m not sure how to copy into the thread.

Justme56 · 25/03/2023 14:57

It’s actually the Spectator.

Boiledbeetle · 25/03/2023 15:00

"This is what it must have been like when women were marched to the stake. Yesterday in Auckland the British women’s rights campaigner Posie Parker found herself surrounded by a deranged, heaving mob. She had tomato soup and placards thrown in her face. She was doused with water. Huge men screamed insults and expletives in her face. The shoving of the crowd became so intense that Parker feared for her life. ‘I genuinely thought that if I fell to the floor I would never get up again’, she said. ‘My children would lose their mother and my husband would lose his wife.’It was a truly chilling spectacle. The mobs’ faces were twisted into masks of feral hatred. They ranted in frenzy as the diminutive Parker, her bottle-blonde hair stained orange from the soup that had been dumped on her, desperately tried to make her way to the safety of a police car. It was a ritualistic shaming of a witch, a violent purging of a heretic."

Right off to actually read it now
