What if you're all wrong about KJK? Even her own security have serious concerns

Her own security are saying she's courting trouble for views, knowingly putting them in danger, that she has no human connection with people but her fans don't notice as they hero-worship her and see what they want to see, and that the end game is she's after becoming a talking head in the US, and that SFW women are just pawns she's using to get there.

She seems more and more like a Katie Hopkins type who's leeching off our movement.

I used to love her, before I get accused of jealousy. I still love the approach of platforming women who don't usually get a chance to be heard.

But actual nazis are now turning up at women's rights events - precisely because KJK refused to denounce them and has been courting the far right for ages. It's not a coincidence.

What does she have to do before women realise she's using us?
At what point do women accept KJK is toxic and damaging our movement?

If those closest to her have serious concerns - shouldn't you?

See, in the time it's taken you to write that, you could be posting the evidence you say you have.

It's odd you think this place is KJK fan club central. It's not. Most posters have said there are things KJK says they agree with and some they don't. But what I won't get involved with is a public slagging off session, especially when the subject has no right of reply and you still haven't supplied evidence

There are quite a few of us who have concerns about KJK. It's fair to say that many of us don't post here often, any more, though.

And you would therefore expect that by now between you there would be some decent proof. Are there photos of KJK dressed as member of the SS? Is there video footage of her doing the arm thing? Is there an email chain where she personally invites a group of angry looking men to her women orientated , held in a public square so anyone who wants can be there, let women speak events?

I feel politically homeless from both party politics and from Mumsnet. It's a depressing place to be. I wish KJK was the fearless warrior for women 's rights she claims to be, but she isn't, and you lot just don't want to know. it's a mess.

Those of us who haven’t put all our GC. Campaigner eggs in KJK’s basket are obviously not disappointed, let alone devastated, to discover that her basket wasn’t big enough to hold everybody else’s eggs. That was an unrealistic expectation.

KJK worked out early on that she was best working as a single issue campaigner in a tiny org where she would work largely alone (and thus avoid all the politics of making a decision via committee vote, which she admits she is unsuited to).

I don’t feel let down by KJK because she hasn’t made us (random us) any promises, so there are no promises for her to break.

I think she is very good at what she does, but that what she does is just a small part of a bigger picture.

I love that there are multiple groups with slightly different angles - my personal interactions have been with FPFW, Safe Schools Alliance, Legal Feminist and some women local to me in the NW.

I absolutely cannot stand bully tactics and calling for denouncements. That’s why threads like this one get right on my tits.

Just do your own thing and leave KJK to hers.

Because I'm at work and don't have time to go find a load of links from the times that KJK was interviewed by the far right / a white supremacist, or the many times she put stuff out in her videos that's aimed at the American religious right, or the people she's taking money from and what they support etc etc.

See, I'm happy to wait, although I would say that if it were me posting something like this, I'd try to have my key evidence linked in the OP.

I don't mind waiting, but there have been so many of these threads now that I'm pretty sure if there was any actual convincing proof of KJK cosying up (whatever that means) to the far right (whoever they are) then we would have seen it by now.

To save you some time, therefore, I shall kindly list all the "evidence" we've been presented with over the last several threads about this (and which has all been thoroughly debated and ultimately rejected, mainly as guilt by association and lies/selective reporting):

1. Some men belonging to Hearts of Oak (right wing, not far right group) filmed KJK's Brighton event without KJK's consent or condemnation;
2. KJK once said that her political priority was protecting women and children, and although she's pro-choice, she sees women's rights to be called women and children to be protected from child abuse as the more important battle at the moment;
3. She's been interviewed by Carl Benjamin and on Fox news;
4. Erm... I think that's it?

So if you could please bring some new, actual evidence to the table, that would be much appreciated, and I'm sure everyone would be happy to look at it.

"The American religious right" are not Nazis or far right. They are a mainstream political segment. You may not like or agree with religious conservatives of any creed (I know I don't) but they are not an extremist group.

I'm very far from subscribing to right-wing politics but I so agree with you. Nobody is very just right-wing, they have to be far right all the time. It is so very, very childish.

But then the meaning of far right has changed so much. Posie's black security guards last year in the USA were supposedly far right.

There are lots of women's rights campaigns and events that don't have anything to do with KJK. Women's Place UK, FiLia, the Lesbian Project. Local feminist orgs.

SFW definitely isn't the only way to do women's rights activism, although I know it can seem like it on here.
