I am so excited that this is coming to Australia - I will hopefully be attending.

Anyone else?

The slaughtered millions whose graves you so casually claim I'm 'dancing' on include dozens of members of my family, you weird sick person.

They don't mine, but my parents remembered the war vividly and both played parts in its aftermath including in previously occupied nations on the European mainland. My childhood included very clear and strict instruction that Nazi ideals and any modern manifestation of these were an abomination.

The minimising of this here is really quite distressing.

The slaughtered millions whose graves you so casually claim I'm 'dancing' on include dozens of members of my family, you weird sick person. Though your attempt to attack a publicly Jewish poster with offensive claims about the Holocaust has been noted, and conclusions drawn.

By your definition, a Nazi is ever so conveniently only a historical figure, one who died some years ago and has already committed mass genocide.

That is not of course the definition of neo-Nazi or far right - and as far as I know, the only people for this is a helpful game to play are people who are themselves on the far right, trying to maintain plausible deniability.

Normal people don't sieg-heil - and normal people recognise that behaviour as overtly far right. It's not cosplaying and in many countries in the world where they recognise Nazism only too well due to their history, that behaviour would be criminal.

Posts like yours are like warm nectar to TRAs, who are no doubt screenshotting these as proof that MN is so far right it cannot recognise as far right the men every newspaper headline correctly identified as Nazis.

I don't know who on earth you think you're helping with this stunt, but it sure as hell ain't women.

Again, your claim that the Nazis at that event supported women’s rights is one that's only ever made by TRAs. Are you a TRA? Why would you make such a bizarre claim??

Yes dear, I'm a TRA. Sigh. Of course I am.

Helleofabore · 23/03/2023 10:54

Me? You want me to define far right? Sorry I have been reading pages back and this just caught my eye while posting an answer for something else.

I, that is me personally, define the 'far right' as a group of people who hold views that are autocratic, and often based on a nationalistic ideal that may also reflect a deeply authoritative religious ideal (that is usually harmful to women and to other minorities).

I have never professed to have any qualifications in politics. I am clear on FWR that I am not politically aligned with any party. So this 'definition' is hurried and not well thought out but I am actually trying to get some work done.

Just because I didn't answer your questions and asked instead that you read my posts, you seem to have taken this as a personal attack by me as I am reading your posts.

Why should I have had to repeat myself yet again on this very thread because you couldn't be arsed to read and then ask questions that I didn't feel I have answered?

And in what way do the group of men who were at that event not meet this definition? There's stuff they've written that is indeed very anti-women. They include known Nazis. They use all the iconography and behaviour of Nazis to signal very clearly they are Nazis.

As I said, international media had no difficulty recognising this.

Why can't you?

YetAnotherSpartacus · 23/03/2023 11:04

How about a thread on FWR started by a supporter of the LWS Tour that explicitly, openly and without question denounces the neo nazi presence at that protest? We can all chime in with our agreement. That would make it very clear.

BernardBlacksMolluscs · 23/03/2023 11:04

Datun · 23/03/2023 10:10

Can you understand why we have been politely asking you to explain who you are talking about?

i'm going to say, and this is just a hunch, that you may not get a very comprehensive answer to that question.

🤣🤣🤣

Helleofabore · 23/03/2023 11:05

xxyzz · 23/03/2023 10:21

Are you a TRA?

As they are the only people I know suggesting the Nazis were there to 'support' women.

The Nazis themselves made it very clear they were only there for a fight with Antifa and despise women, and the women are certainly not claiming the Nazis are there to support them.

Hmmm. How interesting you think this.

good grief.

Have you even read other people's posts? In the past few pages.

There are people on this thread telling us that they were there to support the women!

No. It isn't that I can't.

It is because I have repeatedly told you to fucking go back and read my fucking posts.

nilsmousehammer · 23/03/2023 11:06

They use all the iconography and behaviour of Nazis to signal very clearly they are Nazis.

<Puts on pirate hat, shouts 'ahar Jim lad' a lot and swigs rum, and signals very clearly that I have major involvement in the rum running and other highly dodgy politics of a couple of centuries ago. Cos it's not like I need to do anything is it? If you identify as, you are! Nothing more than image and a few actions needed!>

beastlyslumber · 23/03/2023 11:07

Jesus wept. What makes you think ANY of us have got ANYTHING to do with Nazis? There have been multiple denouncements on multiple threads and I don't really understand why you think you need to hold up another hoop for women to jump through.

A pp had it right when she said this is all a big struggle session to you lot. You're not into Nazis but you do love a bit of cultural revolution, don't you?

xxyzz · 23/03/2023 11:08

nilsmousehammer · 23/03/2023 11:02

Yes dear, I'm a TRA. Sigh. Of course I am.

You claim the far right men there were there to support the women.

I haven't seen anyone claiming this except TRAs.

Please explain why you think this. I have seen zero evidence for this position - in fact the contrary, the men there have made it very clear in writing that they utterly despised women’s rights.

But if you know different, I'm sure we all can't wait for you to post the evidence.

I'll wait...

Anactor · 23/03/2023 11:09

Ah yes, claiming the Jewish poster is really a Nazi.

I'm not going to bother to engage with that, strangely.

You should.

nilsmousehammer · 23/03/2023 11:10

I have no idea yet as to what you think far right is. You don't seem sure. In fact at this point I have very little idea as to any points that you're making aside from some increasingly wild claims. But I am finding this casual weaponising of the word 'Nazi' really quite staggeringly horrible.

What?

You could just go the whole hog and accuse me of cultural Marxism why don't you.

Come on, let's get your dogwhistling out in the open.

FFS.

FOJN · 23/03/2023 11:10

Let me get this straight...

The Nazis issued a statement saying they were attending because they didn't want 'feminists' to be unopposed in reinforcing cultural Marxism and KJK was promoting lesbianism.

KJK says they are nothing to do with her, she finds their views abhorrent, doesn't understand how they even exist in 2023 and didn't even know that that particular group of men in black were Nazis until they started saluting and she has no idea why the police allowed them in.

Soc fems say the Nazis were there to support KJK and she needs to try harder to denounce them because the perceived association is harming their efforts to make progress with left wing politicians.

Neither the Nazis or KJK have spoken in support of each other but somehow there is a perceived association.

COULD THE SOC FEMS STOP SELF SABOTAGING BY MANUFACTURING THE PERCEPTION OF AN ASSOCIATION, IT ONLY EXISTS IN YOUR HEADS

It's like watching you punch yourself in the face and then demanding I stop the pain.

Helleofabore · 23/03/2023 11:11

YetAnotherSpartacus · 23/03/2023 10:38

For some reason, you seem unclear if men in black uniforms sieg-heiling are far right or...I don't know, just a normal bunch of mainstream lads having a laff with their mates.

Are you going to enlighten us on what exactly you think constitutes far right if this doesn't meet your very high bar??!

I wonder what Melbourne's sizeable Jewish population thinks.

Believe it or not Spartacus the main Jewish association had a senior representative state that they did not believe that there was any connection between the women and the National Socialist Network.

On twitter, they were hounded as being 'far right' themselves.

The more you actually follow this, the more confounding it gets.

BernardBlacksMolluscs · 23/03/2023 11:12

Oh for fucks sake. While you're dancing on the graves of slaughtered millions, would you care to pull out:

  • the political AIMS of this formed group that are so very dangerous
  • their policies
  • how this reinvented third reich apparently is now passionately supportive of women's equality, access, diversity, child safeguarding and homosexual females when the third reich actually murdered lesbians and were very into child medical experiments and would have had maya and julie bindel straight in the gas chambers for being non-aryan
  • what they are achieving politically?

No they are not mainstream lads. They are offensive cosplay thugs after attention and jollies.

I am now going to don a fucking gilet, put on riding boots and a scarf and turn into Princess Anne, since apparently all I need to do is wear the costume and do the odd action or say a few lines and it's Total Authentic Reality to some.

Nils I think I love you

this is what I have been too impatient and stupid to say

Belencha · 23/03/2023 11:14

The minimising of this here is really quite distressing.

This.

The downplaying of the very real threat from the far-right/neo-nazis in Australia on this thread is disgusting.

Oh sure you are.

That's why you accused a Jewish poster who has posted many times about being descended from Holocaust survivors of 'dancing on the graves' of the 6 million murdered.

You really come across like someone who cares deeply about the word Nazi being used wrongly.

And you certainly never make 'increasingly wild claims'. Oh no.

The thing about dog whistles is that only dogs can hear them.

I don't know if you're a marxist or whatever, but you behave and talk like an authoritarian. It's very clear what side you're on, and it's not women's.

Was KJK supposed to sort that out for them too? Or are you suggesting she took them with her to Australia.

Perhaps the Australian Intelligence Service could do something about it?

YetAnotherSpartacus · 23/03/2023 11:16

Believe it or not Spartacus the main Jewish association had a senior representative state that they did not believe that there was any connection between the women and the National Socialist Network.

I did see that and it is somewhat confusing as you say although I know enough to unpick some of it and why it might be said (even if I don't agree with it).

But that's not the issue.

I don't think there was any connection at all.

For me, though as an ethical imperative born of my own morality and history, I want to make this publicly clear as well as that GC feminists denounce Nazism, neo nazism and those connected who use other names, and not for political reasons but as a categorical imperative.

I'm not on the same side as you, that's for sure.

I'm sure that regular posters can figure out exactly which side you're on.

nilsmousehammer · 23/03/2023 11:17

From that article: "small cells" of right-wing extremists were meeting regularly to salute Nazi flags and share their ideology.

With what aims? What politics? What power? What intentions? Which seats are they standing for? What rallies are they holding to gain listeners?

Or are we talking about the kind of dabbling with image that's rather popular across the world at the moment?

Because one is a very serious issue, and cannot be allowed to rise into political office. The other is a symptom of a very different problem, that goes with identity politics.
