So, bug, would you have known without the media telling you that these men dressed in black were from the group National Socialist Network?

Would YOU recognise them if you went to Australia, and was focused on doing something else, had no idea they existed and saw men in black wearing shorts doing a nazi salute and not being immediately caught by police, and quickly and without any ability to keep doing this salute removed from the site?

I assume you are British. You as a Brit, would you have known who they were? The women were upfront in saying they had no idea who they were.

Would you have assumed the police would never have let them into the street and anywhere near either the Victoria Socialists (where those men spent at least half their time their standing in front of), the feminists (because nazis hate feminists too!) or trans people?

Instead, you assume that KJK and the women knew who those men were. Wouldn't it also be reasonable that considering it is not illegal to do that salute or to shout those words in Australia, and that what was being yelled at that event, and at most events this year (certainly at the London event I attended), that some group decided to do this to make some kind of point. They did it after the two female protestors did some weird act of shitting on the ground and a trans activist who had stood right there in front forcibly took the microphone.

Gosh.... If only everyone involved had your amazing insight.

The question remains - why did the police allow that group in. It is reasonable to believe that the police would know who they were. They are known to police. One is even a policeman's son! Why were the Socialists, the women and the trans people put into potential danger like this?

What reason did the police have to allow this to happen?

The AFP (Australian Federal Police) as well as the Canberra police are getting involved tomorrow to protect the women.

I am hopeful that they can keep all groups separated.

Just for future reference, because I suspect that the 'nazis on your side' will keep being promulgated on threads.

The first nazi mention I found was at 4.05 minutes on a live feed where KJK arrived at 28.49 minutes. They were video'ed at 5.30 minutes. They were well in place by this time so already there.

The NSN, Neo nazis, moved to the middle of the street in front of Parliament House at 36.00 minutes. They didn't move to the stairs 'beside' the women's speaking until 50.48 minutes.

They were walked out by police at 1:06.00.

So, they were there longer than 60 minutes and were not corralled by police at all. Why not? Why did police judge this group to be not a threat? They are fucking Neo-nazis !

They were 'beside' the women for 15:12 minutes. So around 1/4 of the time that they were there.

To be generous, they were up closer to the women for 30 minutes. So less than half of their time if you want to get really ridiculous and declare in the middle of the road to be 'on the side' of the women.

Can fools stop repeating that they must be supporting women because they were near the women please. The same logic must then be applied to the fact they must also be connected with the Victoria Socialists and ANTIFA.

I think it is pretty clear that she doesn't share this person's views at all.

So, are people allowed to make a mistake and then while owning they made an error, make a statement denouncing that person's views?

This is out there in public record.

All these people telling her she has to 'denounce' something that she has not said she supports and when she has made an error in judgement, does issue statements, what is the point?

Here is bug using this error as a blunt instrument to spread more harm about her. Whether she denounces something or doesn't, there are people who seem to have a rather extreme prejudice against her who will simply keep using whatever she has done to cause her more harm.

I wonder if it would be more useful to have a "Debunking the Myth" thread so that it makes it easier to follow updates on what is currently or about to happen.

By the way, I am sending each of the accusations that have been made by people on this thread which match the ones made by the leader of the Victorian Liberal party to someone to send onto the leader of the Victorian Liberal party in defense of Moira Deeming.

On Dec. 9, 2020, following a five-week trial, Hari was convicted by a federal jury on all five counts of the indictment, including intentionally defacing, damaging and destroying religious property because of the religious character of that property; intentionally obstructing and attempting to obstruct, by force and the threat of force, the free exercise of religious beliefs; conspiracy to commit federal felonies by means of fire and explosives; carrying and using a destructive device during and in relation to crimes of violence; and possession of an unregistered destructive device.

In handing down the sentence, United States District Judge Donovan W. Frank described the attack orchestrated by Hari as a highly sophisticated and premeditated act of domestic terrorism.

“Hari sought to terrorize an entire faith community. Today’s sentence makes clear that such acts of hate-fueled terror will not be tolerated,” said Deputy Attorney General Lisa O. Monaco. “The Dar al-Farooq community has shown powerful strength and resolve during this case. As demonstrated by this verdict and sentence against Hari, the Justice Department will prosecute hate crimes to the full extent of the law, including those that target places of worship and other religious sites.”

Because I remember it was just the AFP too when I lived there. But that was a couple of decades ago, so I figured I was wrong and Canberra got its own force.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - The militia leader convicted of masterminding the bombing of a Minnesota mosque is asking a judge to legally acknowledge her transgender identity.
Emily Claire Hari was previously known as Michael Hari, who was found guilty last year of civil rights and hate crime charges related to the bombing of the Dar Al-Farooq Islamic Center in Bloomington in August 2017.

During the trial, prosecutors said Hari was fueled by a hatred of Muslims when he devised a plan to pipe bomb the building during morning prayers. While no one was hurt in the bombing, it spread fear through the community, prosecutors said.

Australian women knew they were likely to turn up and told KJK.

She refused to do anything about it e.g. denounce the nazis.

I think if anyone had plenty of advance notice that they were likely to turn up then it's reasonable to expect they would be able to spot them, yes.

It would also be a pretty basic to have a plan for what to do if they do turn up e.g. very publicly stopping the event until they left, plus asking the police to intervene.

The idea that KJK had no clue they would be there is a lie. She was warned it was likely. If she chooses to ignore those warnings and do nothing about it, that's on her.

And besides any specific warnings that a known bunch of far right racists are going to turn up, loads of us have been pointing out that this was bound to happen, for months.

Why do you think so many people were asking KJK to denounce the far right? It's not about purity spirals or jealousy or any of that absolute bollocks. It's because this was bound to happen.

But KJK is too much of a narc to take advice. Instead she's dragging the movement into the gutter.

I think I came across (probably on Glinner's twitter) some tweets from a Victoria....Smith?, an antipodean politician, defending 'Emily', his right to id as a woman. Fucking surreal. These people walk around, can dress themselves, presumably don't mistake cars for trees or rocks for food. How can they function, when they're so at odds with reality? They must have something broken inside.
