I think this clip taken from the side of the road where the extreme trans activists group were being controlled by police needs to be posted on each page.
The police are shoving protestors backwards after being constantly rushed at and one protestor even grabs a policeman’s arm to try to stop him pushing a protestor back out when the protestor is clearly determined to break through the police line.
I saw a clip yesterday where at one stage when the police horses seemed to be no enough, police formed a second line behind the horses.
And this violence has gone relatively unremarked on.
This is the violence being directed at women speaking.
Would those who are on this thread crowing about ‘small numbers of women’, and about women’s alignment with neo-Nazis like to address the violence of these protestors and acknowledge that the final desired outcome of these efforts is to silence women.
The continual distraction of portraying Kellie Jay Keen, simply the women who used the concept of Hyde Park speaker’s corner events and turns up to facilitate them, as far right, a nazi, as whatever you are trying to do supports the outcome to silence women.
Instead, tell us precisely and specifically what issues you disagree with that the women speaking discussed. Anything in particular?
Because if you cannot mention anything in particular, maybe you haven’t even listened. And yet you are on a feminist board, one of you proclaim your ‘lot’ is even a feminist organisation. For instance, did you listen to the Australian Green’s expellee? There talking on the steps… with women from the Liberal Party.
What about the lesbians? Did you find anything that they said to be something for you are uncomfortable with? The mothers? Any of the women?
No?
Just Kellie Jay Keen? Who may have provided the inspiration for the event, but the events were organised locally. By local women.
So because of your prejudiced view of her, you effectively dismiss all those women’s testimonies. And still post proudly on a feminist board about supporting women?
Do you think that readers cannot see this? Based on what I have seen on this thread by an alleged WPUK supporter, if I had been interested in joining I would be very hesitant now. A poster solely dedicated to vilifying women speaking at women’s rallies on thread after thread. Focused on portraying someone they refer to as a ‘bimbo’ as a villain, have you even acknowledged the violence towards women at these events. if you have, please post the reference and I will check it out.
And why would anyone want to join Mishy’s support of trans people when it seems to be focused on denigrating women and crowing with great glee about the violence and abuse extreme trans activists direct at women?
Not one positive contribution about the women speaking. Just smugness about the negative aspects of the events.
It is stark when you see it on a feminist board.
