I want to come back to this article that has been posted by both livvy & dadjoke as some kind of fucking gotcha about 'the children' being pepper sprayed.
One counter-protester sprayed the rally with Silly String. Hoch responded with pepper spray and hit a different nearby counter-protester, Lorenzo Cervantes, in the face with the painful liquid. “They used violent tactics,” Cervantes said later. “(Hoch) came prepared to hurt somebody. We weren’t hurting anybody.”
Please tell us how the fuck do these supposed 'children' (no age provided) learn that it is NEVER appropriate behaviour to exhibit violence towards women.
Honestly, who the fuck told this student that 'they weren't hurting anybody'?
Who?
Who fucking benefits from lowering the bar on what is considered 'violence towards women' in this fucking model era?
Have any of you who have been on this fucking thread dismissing the violence that has been shown towards these women, for simply SPEAKING into a mic, wondered what the effect this has?
That teenagers are being taught it is perfectly reasonable to spit, assault, intimidate women who you disagree with.
Tell us @DadJoke @MargaritaPie @SecretTransTwitterEngineer @antelopevalley and @livvyposts who benefits from allowing students to think that this is behaviour doesn't 'hurt' anyone and is appropriate behaviour, especially towards women?
That is it perfectly ok to spray something, throw something or spit, throw pies, break fingers at or of women and that women should take that violence and ignore it. That it is perfectly ok to intimidate any woman because you disagree with her.
What the fuck do you teach your children?
