Not quite sure what's happened - seems there were credible threats to women's lives over these protests.

Now it seems a few women went ahead and met up and were attacked. (Nobody seriously hurt as far as I can tell)

Hoping everyone is safe and well.

I don't get the obsession with Posie, I never have. She's a brilliant marketeer, and she's ballsy. Her USP is that she doesn't waiver from the point. Interviewers can't side track her, or set up to fail, because she just keeps going back to the point. Transwomen are men, and we need to stop mutilating children.

But she really provokes people. I can understand her provoking transactivists, because she's very effective. But she provokes other women, too. And that's what I don't get.

Someone suggested it was jealousy, but surely, a lot of these women are far too intelligent to let that show, at least to this extent.

So I don't get it. I do think it's bloody out of order though.

What she does works.. So I will keep pointing out the flaws in the arguments to shut her down.

I watch the ones flagged up as problematic as due diligence.

I think Im spot on actually. I said you’re not interested in actually reading the evidence, and you’ve just admitted you don’t read it. The example “responses” were the usual ones you say where it is obvious you haven’t looked at the evidence and are just posting the usual tactic of deny & reverse accusations, demand evidence, don’t read evidence & respond with strawman, whataboutery or a random aspersion on character or intelligence.

I think she provokes other women because they know they don’t have the guts to do what she does, and the fact she is effective and articulate upsets then because they know they could not do that. They know they can’t do it, so to preserve their own self esteem, they try to drag her down. If she can do it, it shows up the excuses for them not doing it as being just that, weak excuses.

There are loads of women doing absolutely brilliant things that I don't give any headspace to. I'm just glad they're getting on with it, including Posie Parker.

Maybe the anonymous accounts on here are people in real life who feel they are in competition with her. They certainly come across as personal. Who knows.

The female who sprayed silly string? Who got sprayed as the silly string was sprayed, because who the fuck knows what is going to come out of the can? That female?

She was no “MALE”. Jeanna Hoch (the woman holding the sign) herself said this girl was seeming to be about to spit on her and confirmed she was female. But apparently a bit of girl spit is enough reason to slam a sign in her face while shoving her backwards, and then duck down and pepper spray as many people as you can in that general direction.

Yes. Journalists attend these protests, then watch video footage for anything they missed and then write & publish news articles.

New outlets publish articles on their daily news feeds. Fairly often a video on SM will be a subject in several news feeds, eg. there are currently articles about YouTube videos with racist abuse of Ncuti Gatwa, the new Dr Who actor. One memorable news item about a prolific YouTuber was Logan Paul and his offensive YouTube video of Japan's Aokigahara forest. Another was the man who trained his dog to do Nazi salutes to videos of Hitler speaking. Finally, a really bad one was the Guy Fawkes bonfire that featured a model of Grenfell with little figurines of ethnic minorities reaching out the windows and as they burned it, the racists made jokes like “help I’m burning” in foreign accents and laughing.

And what sort of due diligence do you do on that? The usual. Investigation and verification.
