Not quite sure what's happened - seems there were credible threats to women's lives over these protests.

Voice of reason. I see the usual G-crew are out showcasing their stupendous ignorance of US laws, culture and politics. They’re also pretty desperate to defend KJK. You’d think she’d have realised that a British woman coming to a former colony with a heavily armed militia at her back to protest how the US is would be just a little bit unwelcome there. She’s a blonde Britannia, a modern day symbol of the imperial oppression that the US suffered under British rule. They weren’t granted independence after a vote by a benevolent monarch like the majority of the former colonies were…they fought two full blown wars for their independence.

KJK is out of her depth entirely and seems oblivious to how tone deaf her whole “US tour” is.

Her whole trip is a complete fiasco for her, and I couldn’t be more pleased really because she’s no feminist, she’s a right wing handmaiden masquerading as one.

The protest where only 30 people showed up for SFW in Tacoma was a pathetic turnout. It also had 200 counter protesters in opposition to them. That’s probably why she slunk off early and cancelled Portland.

I live in the USA I support KJK 100% and frankly most people have no idea she is here but the idea that a woman speaking up for women and girls alongside American women will be rejected is nonsense. A lot of pushback against the trans agenda is building ever since it became clear that they are zeroing in on kids. These people don’t understand mothers (and fathers) and how furious a lot of them are getting stateside. We’ll soon see how they all think with the midterms almost upon us. My household has already voted by mail. I am going to guess that the Democrats will get a rude awakening at how very unpopular this attempted break from reality (Gender Ideology) is.

People are inclined to believe their eyes whatever the Biden administration and all the captured institutions want to tell us. You can’t wheel out men on TV and tell the country they’re women. Nope. It’s a big NO.

Threads like that are because we agree with what she's doing and saying. It's supportive of her campaign goals. She's helping. It's the content of what she's doing, and her bravery in doing it. She's making people aware of everything we're talking about on this board.

People banging on about her hair, nails, domesticity, poring over her background to find people whose opinions you disagree with, is personal obsession.

Who does that? Seriously. It's resentment over a woman who has nothing to do with you.

Both those threads are by people on your side of the fence who disagree with her.

Threads like that are because we agree with what she's doing and saying.* Yeah, you’re all so obsessed you start multiple threads about her constantly. Threads tracking her every movement. Threads lamenting how she got banned from MN and trying to campaign to get her reinstated on here. Threads discussing how she is upset with a Waitrose delivery driver. Threads purely to express how much you love her 😍and how brave 🤩 you think she is and all the good 😇 she is doing.

Who does that? Seriously. It's adoration over and blind devotion to a woman who has nothing to do with you.

Duh…it is late. I read it as importing Butlins Redcoats from Britain to use as security. Though possibly more politically acceptable to our friends, probably less effective against threats of violence.

Why is the focus on the security. Surely the focus and condemnation should be on those making the threats.

Yep, 7 links in shot, 4 about KJK all read, but no interest in "Some light relief in sport", "Marks & Spencer" or "KPSS and the vital work they do".

Readers will certainly have seen some really interesting dynamics on this thread.

Yet another poster who dismisses violence against women. Who tries to keep the attention on a 14 year old who claimed to be sprayed and yet there is no evidence that they were sprayed by women who attended to speak. But trying to keep the focus there means less discussion about the actual violence experienced by those women who spoke or the women who supported those who spoke.

Of which there is video evidence.

That same poster is one who has thrown around many assertions about ‘who Kellie Jay is aligned with’, YET, immediately tried ineffectively to distance trans people from Peter Tatchell!

So, can dish out the ‘alignment’ crap but cannot accept that it works both ways. And Peter Tatchell is confirmed as a trans spokesperson because they appear on panels as a trans spokesperson and a Stonewall senior spokesperson and I don’t see any person discrediting that connection from the perspective of this poster.

The another poster came along with further ad hom attacks that are so ridiculous that if we didn’t know better, we would think of was a spoof.

What is immediately apparent is that too many posters are trying to defend those protester’s (those against the women speaking about their needs) violent actions, or distract people from them.

And that includes the video footage from that group themselves that they have posted which clearly shows they have no concept that following those women continuing the yelling and abuse (levied at a lesbian!), including April with her injuries, is about making sure those women feel they cannot get away. That is crossing into sinister behaviour when you look at the motivation. And it has not once been acknowledged as so.

There are too many posters on this thread dismissing violence against women. It is 2022, yet here we are.

And let’s not forget that one of the earlier posters also had recently asked what was dehumanising about calling people ‘the GCs’ or the just as disconnecting from being humans, ‘GCs’ - just like on this board we don’t call trans people the ‘transes’ for the same reason.

It goes hand in hand to call a group dehumanising terms to dismissing violence against them because they have been dehumanised.

Thanks to those posters though. It has been an informative live demonstration.
