The LGB Alliance tweets from yesterday about gay men and monkeypox have been deleted by twitter for either homophobia or misinformation.

Absolutely meaningless. You can't define gay. Or straight. How can you support gay rights, when you don't even know what it means. 🙄

Gay:

A woman who is sexually attracted to only women

Or a man who is sexually attracted to only women.

Straight:

A man who is only attracted to women.

Or

A woman who is attracted to men.

JDP says.... marriage is a sacrament and therefore a matter for the church no matter whether you are same sex or opposite sex attracted. Churches should be free to marry any couple they like. She does not think the state should interfere in religion.

Civil unions should be available to everyone.

I'm not sure I agree but she is not opposing same sex partnerships be they marriage or something else.

A male sexually attracted to a female can, according to you, be either straight or gay. So the words straight and gay have no actually meaning.

I do read about heterosexuality in the newspaper though sometimes.

No one is denying that people can be attracted only to certain groups.

Some gay people might only want to date cisgender people, other gay people might want to only date redheads etc

Many people's sexuality is exclusionary by its nature. Straight people exclude those of the same sex; gay men exclude women; lesbians exclude men.
