I loved BC's pause after MS's rant and then leaned in a bit said no more questions. 😅

IDidntKnowItWasAParty · 18/05/2022 12:45

Did MS really threaten BC?

Yes. But she didn't SAY it was a threat, so in her world her threat can't be called a threat.

ifIwerenotanandroid · 18/05/2022 12:45

Give it up, AH. We're still pumped from watching BC in action today.

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 18/05/2022 12:46

AH is re-examining the cotton ceiling. Wouldn't have expected him to go there.

Helleofabore · 18/05/2022 12:46

MS was not a good friend to Allison at all.

No. She was not.

wheredoesitallbegin · 18/05/2022 12:46

God I am LOVING these barristers getting a taste of their own medicine.

SpindleInTheWind · 18/05/2022 12:47

If MS had been a 'good friend' to AB, she would have refused to have undertaken the bloody 'investigation' on the grounds of conflict of interest, surely?

There's a whole big chambers full of barristers to pick from.

What a crock.

Appalonia · 18/05/2022 12:47

Hoisted by their own petard...

Chrysanthemum5 · 18/05/2022 12:47

Oh and now grumpy with EJ - how rude she is!

Clymene · 18/05/2022 12:48

Why can't AH use tech properly? Infuriating!

chilling19 · 18/05/2022 12:48

Spindle - yes, I certainly wouldn't have taken it on. And if I was forced to, I would have done a much better job.

User237845 · 18/05/2022 12:49

So hang on, sorry for being thick, AB's tweet referred to the workshop but she didn't attach workshop blurb screenshot so the tweet could be interpreted or misinterpreted more generally? Is that the point?

VestofAbsurdity · 18/05/2022 12:49

AH -bear in mind and look at original tweet, tweet 17; assume, extract included as part of tweet
MS - not included with tweet
AH - was not?
AH - what was put was that that was added to tweet
BC - wrong about that
MS- completely wrong,

AH - important point hope tribunal got

Anybody watching able to explain this exchange a bit more?

PrelateChuckles · 18/05/2022 12:49

What was the 'threat' to Ben?

Ameanstreakamilewide · 18/05/2022 12:50

Planned Parenthood who dole out testosterone to 15 y/o girls without a doctor's note?

That Planned Parenthood??

MissPollysFitDolly · 18/05/2022 12:50

Wow, I wouldn't have expected a QC to get so emotional whilst being questioned. That section was riveting!

Thanks everyone for the commentary BTW.
And thanks ickky for today's new thread.

nauticant · 18/05/2022 12:50

Ahh, the Planned Parenthood Toronto explanation of the Workshop that explained Cotton Ceiling to be something innocuous was something that MS found herself by googling. It wasn't provided to her. In other words, she did an uncharacteristic careful examination to find Cotton Ceiling harmless, but then ignored any document contradicting that. What a stitch up.

IcakethereforeIam · 18/05/2022 12:51

Poor Allison, this person was a friend? I hope it's not making it fresh for her.

Chrysanthemum5 · 18/05/2022 12:52

Some friends this bunch are - thankfully Allison now has JKR as a chum 😂

stimpyyouidiot · 18/05/2022 12:53

Thanks everyone for your commentary this morning.

I am aghast that such a highly educated intelligent woman cannot (or more likely, will not) see what is happening in front of her. I don't understand how she can deny any of this. And after apparently doing 'research' not come up with anything sensible.

Am watching now.

nauticant · 18/05/2022 12:53

I think VestofAbsurdity the point was that AB's Cotton Ceiling tweet didn't have attached the summary of it that makes it look utterly awful and somehow this was highly helpful to GCC's case. But this isn't so because AB provided it later and it did support what AB had written in her tweet.

ickky · 18/05/2022 12:54

Maybe that fact she was a friend made her be more critical, to show she wasn't showing bias, unfortunately she went far far to far.

OP posts:
Appalonia · 18/05/2022 12:55

Planned Parenthood are as captured as ACLU are, aren't they? So wonder she didn't get what the workshop was about!

chilling19 · 18/05/2022 12:55

Ikky - I think she d I'd Alissa poor job basically, aided and abetted by GCC

Clymene · 18/05/2022 12:55

I'm impressed that MS could find a page from planned parenthood on the cotton ceiling workshop with Morgan page because I'm on p 4 of my google results and there appears to be no reference to cotton ceiling from them at all
