The Tribunal started on 25th April at 10am. If you would like to view online you need to send a request for access as early as possible.

Send an email to

[email protected]

The subject heading of the email request should read

“MEDIA OR PUBLIC ACCESS REQUEST – Case number 2202172/2020 - Ms A Bailey – 25th April 2022.

Then ask for the pin for the online access.

You will be contacted with instructions on how to observe the hearing.

When joining the live tribunal please choose a non inflammatory/offensive name, everyone can see it in the chat - This is a court room, please behave accordingly.

The court chat function is there for official court purposes, not for observers, please don't use it unless you have a technical issue.

On the first page underneath where you put your screen name, select the video and mic that are not crossed out (top option), this is the courts vid and mic.
On the next page select NONE on the drop down windows for vid and mic, these are your own video and mic.

You must be muted so as to not disturb the hearing.

There is also live tweeting from

Thank you Magnolia, is that camera as well as sound?

CuntAmongstThePigeons · 16/05/2022 10:03

I'm in, but I didn't get the option to mute myself and turn my camera off. Now paranoid that everyone can see me, but unsure how to check!

If the little camera and microphone aren't showing on your screen on the bottom left, go up to the padlock before the URL in your address bar and click on it. It might show camera and microphone turned off up there.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 16/05/2022 10:05

I thought you were insulting the judge then for a minute Magnolia Grin

MagnoliaTaint · 16/05/2022 10:05

The judge has muted everyone and is then unmuting only the people who need to be unmuted. It should work better!

nauticant · 16/05/2022 10:05

Proceedings start with a discussion of the application of Sex Matters to receive a permanent copy of the non-downloadable bundle. Sex Matters were given the bundle subject to them providing a terrestrial address.

Today is the two Stonewall witnesses. Adjustments were sought for Mr Knan.

MagnoliaTaint · 16/05/2022 10:05

I think everyone's camera seems to be off, and sorry if that sounded impolite, should I call you Pigeon instead?!

CuntAmongstThePigeons · 16/05/2022 10:07

Haha, not at all. Cunt is just fine. Ok thanks all for technical help!

nauticant · 16/05/2022 10:07

Mr Sood-Smith first.

IdisagreeMrHochhauser · 16/05/2022 10:07

Nice bit of product placement from Jane Russell this morning. Sponsored by Apple.

MagnoliaTaint · 16/05/2022 10:07

I think this is Mr Sood-Smith?

SpindleInTheWind · 16/05/2022 10:07

Thank you for all the real time posting on this thread. It’s really interesting and useful to get the flavour of what’s going on and its significance.

MagnoliaTaint · 16/05/2022 10:09

This might be a bit more relevant, tho:

nauticant · 16/05/2022 10:10

Sood-Smith shouts out "Willy!". Well, it made me laugh.

AnnieLou12 · 16/05/2022 10:10

I thought you were insulting the judge too @MagnoliaTaint ! Is there a danger of that post being screenshotted without the context of who you were responding to?

Manderleyagain · 16/05/2022 10:10

Hahaha worth clicking through.

tabbycatstripy · 16/05/2022 10:11

Sood-Smith is here to chuck Kirrin under the bus.

MagnoliaTaint · 16/05/2022 10:11

Ben Cooper says apart from being copied into emails, SSS had no involvement in issues

Meep! I will report my post.

Sood-Smith is here to chuck Kirrin under the bus.

The cynic in me suspects you're right.

nauticant · 16/05/2022 10:13

I just scrolled back to look at MagnoliaTaint's tweet about the judge. Hahahhahahahha.

nauticant · 16/05/2022 10:14

I meant to write "post" not "tweet".

MagnoliaTaint · 16/05/2022 10:14

I have only had one cup of coffee, in my defence. Confused

tabbycatstripy · 16/05/2022 10:16

I’ve read the witness statement and it’s saying KM had no authority to send the complaint on behalf of Stonewall and, if SSS had known about it, he would have told him not to do it and spoken to his line manager.

It does raise the question, then, of why - if that is true - SSS or someone else who did have the authority didn’t contact GCC to withdraw the complaint and make the statements made here (that Stonewall don’t seek to police the actions of employees of DCs and recognise that there are many different views within that group).

Ameanstreakamilewide · 16/05/2022 10:16

I like JR's 'lucky jacket'.

I imagine that she's like Batman and has dozens of them hanging up in her wardrobe.

MagnoliaTaint · 16/05/2022 10:17

SSS claims Stonewall does not hold influence over Diversity Champions

says its 'absurd' to say that Stonewall has significant influence
