Terfy McTerf-face, take a bow.

If AH can understand why some gay men reclaimed 'queer' then he can apply the same logic to 'terf'.

IDidntKnowItWasAParty · 13/05/2022 11:02

My god AH is grasping at invisible non-existent straws!
AH is saying that because AB used the term 'terf wars', that apparently shows that the term 'terf' can never be seen or used as an offensive term, no matter who uses it or when, where etc!
Utter nutter

JulesRimetStillGleaming · 13/05/2022 11:02

Timeline is significant

DomesticatedZombie · 13/05/2022 11:03

Which is to say - an oppressed person can reclaim a slur used against them, but the oppressor using the term is still not okay.

nauticant · 13/05/2022 11:03

Another failed gotcha by AH when he strays from legal argument and tries to speak in terms of gender identity.

IDidntKnowItWasAParty · 13/05/2022 11:03

Exactly - he contradicted/undermined his own point!!!!

Clymene · 13/05/2022 11:03

Oh Allison is unfailingly polite!

Ereshkigalangcleg · 13/05/2022 11:03

JK Rowling has used it in the same way when she posted her essay.

JulesRimetStillGleaming · 13/05/2022 11:03

Ah has finished!!!!

tabbycatstripy · 13/05/2022 11:03

She is sheer class, isn’t she?

DrBlackbird · 13/05/2022 11:03

tabbycatstripy · 13/05/2022 10:51

I thought it was because he told EJ ‘don’t worry’ - she can see his condescension and she isn’t immune from it.

AH coming across as somewhat misogynistic in his attitude to women. Not a good look for a barrister.

ickky · 13/05/2022 11:03

AH has finished his cross exam of AB.

5 minutes of Ben!

Mollyollydolly · 13/05/2022 11:04

'Thank you Mr Hochhouser it's been a pleasure.' LOL

Chrysanthemum5 · 13/05/2022 11:04

Oh thank goodness AH is finished will IO have questions?

SpindleInTheWind · 13/05/2022 11:04

Imagine if the person responsible for those shambolic bundles wrote a book on, say, an area of the law. I expect it would be a very shit book indeed.

Bit of mutual respect I think.

Mollyollydolly · 13/05/2022 11:05

I think he has a lot of respect for Allison. Who wouldn't?

It could have page numbers randomly assigned at printing.

It could have page numbers randomly assigned at printing.

And words in no particular order.

No. She did hers at the beginning.

corlan · 13/05/2022 11:08

I'm so impressed by Allison's grace under pressure. To thank AH and say ' it's been a pleasure' is pure class. I want to be like her when I grow up!
