I wonder if Ms Watson will feel differently when Hollywood (almost inevitably) starts casting TW in female lead roles, and like many Sportswomen she finds herself and her peers even further disadvantaged in their professional field.
Thats unlikely to be a massive casting option because fuckability is still a factor. Very few actors are given or can carry character roles which has no sexual tension or relationship conflict element and are box office winners. So a male even with the best plastic surgeon's is going to have a limited role offers.
Even if we are unaware of our social bias underlying theme matter. Whats the likelihood that the next 007 be a woman who shaggs her way through the male beautiful&helpless&rescued population? Low IMO because 007 is not a shooter-game or superhero action movie, is it? Its white knight saves the world and the princess movie. Princess/Queen saves prince is a hard sell at the box office. But then EW is aging out of the princess roles.
EW is getting to that age when most leading lady roles will be younger and decent story lines for older women leads are harder to finance.
So having a headline and maintaining a younger fanbase will be very important in her future career progressions. If Hollywood is spending millions they want some guarantee of a box office success.
If young people are not reminded she is anti-JKR which is now part of her EW public branding they will associate her with HP which everyone is now obliged to be kind and hate.
