I had a pleasant virtual 'happy hour' with some of my colleagues - most of them in California. I'm not sure anyone was actually drinking alcohol, and I don't believe I've seen them nibbling brownies either.

Errol, California, everyone is in AA. Heck even I go to online meetings. My medical Maryjane comes in the form of tiny little mints, in a very stylish container. No one would ever know....apart from looking at the cake longingly and developing a strange liking for the Grateful Dead.

I've now woken up and done the weekend shopping and had a chance to admire Giles, and he is truly gorgeous. I'd share pix of my dogs, Detroit, but I can't pm them. Take it from me that they are delightful and charming.

I've been a. It quiet lately as I've been ill for 7 bloody weeks (not covid) and only just resurfacing.

I've just been to Waitrose so can offer up some crusty bread and cheese, with homegrown tomatoes if that's of interest. A dollop of salad cream for those, like me, with no sense of food style.
