Oh in so upset .because we have no laundry in the building I pay once a month for it to be done via a service . It just came back every single item of clothing I own has been shrunk, and my kid's too. Everything. Not one item wearable. I'm devastated. I can't replace them. I now have two shirts, he has one, and I have no way of replacing them. I'm in tears.

He tries are skin tight and by his belly button. Everything. Mine are all tiny, my jeans are too short and too small. Can't get them past my knees. I'm devastated

I've sent them an email. I now have a collection of skin tight crop tops. I hope they do, but it's me, eh. I never get treated like a human being. I feel so bad, I've left him with hardly any clothes. I'm used to not having a change of clothes. I've built stuff up over a year. It's devastated.

I'll call them when they open tomorrow.. I'll at least complain. Compensation and treated well is not for people like me.

Don't apologise, of course you're upset, it's not fine by any stretch of the imagination. I'm sure you will be fine, because you're tough, but it's a significant problem that you really shouldn't be having to deal with.

Thank you for being kind,Errol. I have one pair of jeans, kiddo has two. He failed to put his cargo pants in the wash... hilariously I told him off for not putting them in. How could they take so little care? I've used them before. It was a luxury to have clean clothes. I hand washed everything in the shelter, it was not possible there to wash stuff. I felt like less of a shit human for having clean clothes and kiddo in clean clothes. Now I've fucked everything up. Again.

We will be ok. I'll talk to the women's shelter at our Friday meeting. They should come up with some used stuff. It makes me upset because for the first time in forever I had tees and jeans that had never been used by someone else. Kiddo could hold his head up. But it's fine. Really. Sorry for complaining. Maybe the laundry will compensate, but to be frank, I doubt it. Maybe if I was someone different.

Thank you for the sympathy....it totally sucks. I've like two unshrunk shirts and one pair of jeans. They must have boiled everything and put on a fast hot dry. Even my undies are shrunk. It's ridiculous.
Just woke up. Not bastard crows waking me up nowadays, more trash collection and noisy street sounds.

Tripped over my little bed desk late last night and banged myself up. I'm going to be very careful today I think...
