Lets get together round the pub fire this evening to raise a jar. Theres been some good things happening in the past few days.

Are tea cakes on the menu this evening?

I'm very weary. I need chocolate. And tea. Or something. Kahlua?

I'm pretty sure we have tea cakes - both the buttered toasted type and the marshmallow things.

The latter can be S'Mored by placing on a BBQ-type heat source or in part of an open fire - which it so happens that the Bluestocking has. Outside braziers and an open fire in the snug.

Doesn't that make the chocolate melt off?
Maybe the solution to that would be to make a teacake teacake toastie?

There are, indeed, people who have sandwiched a cake with melty Tunnocks before now or squidged the same between 2 Rich Teas.

Morning all. Tea and coffee are on, tea cakes and bread by the toaster.

Morning all. Some of the family are feeding unwanted guests. The worse their table manners get the more my family members feed them. One unwanted guest threw our Wonderwoman card game out the window. Another unwanted guest shouted endlessly whilst our poor neighbour was asking for advice about her childs situation. If it were just me I'd ignore the unwanted guests but is there any way to get the family to recognise that engaging can make the house an unbearable place to be?

It's difficult - a matter we need to discuss with Ms Bunbury rather than in the pub I think (discussions with Ms B are regrettably liable to be disrupted or quashed by aforementioned rude guests).

Oh I see Errol. Perhaps Ms B would consider letting us putting unwanted guests in a timeout? particularly if they are drunk and vomiting on the kitchen floor? It's rather smelly for everyone else

We're heading to a nearby Christmas market today. Hopefully won't spend too much on gifts and trinkets. But I agree Mrs that avocado toast on a Christmas tree is just odd...!

I'm afraid it's moved on from rude guests.

Now it's abusers who prod a vulnerable mother with hot pokers whilst suggesting she send her child to groups to receive Psychological torture methods, Physical torture methods. and linking to Instruments of torture to buy or use. Ms B's team call it 'support and advice’ and an 'opinion'

Better polish the glasses, groom the camel/llama/whatever livestock is in the paddock by the beer garden, get the makings of mulled wine and eggnog lined up!
Hot chocolate for those of us for whom it’s still night, coffee and tea for earlier time zones…this pub is always open even if it’s quiet at times.
