And by ‘peaked’ I mean my usually mild mannered don’t rock the boat just be kind oh mums going on about that trans stuff again ABSOLUTELY LOST HIS SHIT at 17yo DD telling him ‘super straight’ is transphobic as fuck.

I’ve never heard him swear as much as he did at DD telling him ladycock is a thing. He’s not remotely homophobic but being told he should theoretically accept ladycock into his sex life was a tipping point.

He gets it now.

So your husband was not "sweary" about lesbians being called bigots for refusing ladycock (or gay men refusing manpussy), but he became enraged when HIS sexuality was questioned? The bar is set so low that men are rewarded for ... Caring about men.

I'm relaxed about the route people take to become aware of the unpleasant aspects of the gender identity ideology. Even if it's a non-approved route, the destination is the most important thing.

Stay strong, OP. Your DD is likely to come through this as she grows up, just as your DS has. I hope it happens soon.

To be completely fair to DH he was already on board but this is the first time he’s got angry about it; whereas I’m angry quite frequently and he tells me to calm down.

So by peaked I really mean he went from ‘well of course this is all nonsense’ to ‘of course this is really fucking offensive’.

@Karwomannghia

Having a sweary argument with a teenager is not ok, I bet she was terrified.
Oh come on. She'd only be terrified if she had reason to be.
