Q about voting: Have the Green Party got digital voting and if so, when is it used?

Why did so few members vote in the Spring conference?, "Out of a membership of over 50,000, fewer than one per cent voted at the conference. Voting was generally split as to 58% Gender Ideologist versus 42% Gender Critical voters" from happening in the Green Party?

Interesting about Somerset Greens ' going on strike " over Emma Batemans suspension. Could local parties secede , so to speak , and run as Oxford Greens or Leeds Greens?

While I do agree with most of this article and particularly about the dangers Patrick Harvie represents, I do take issue a bit with the following:
It is that they don’t want to build the economy. The Scottish Greens oppose growth. They would rather it shrank and all of us received just what they dictate we need to live on. One of the things the Greens are opposed to (and I agree), is that we cant just build back a carbon fuelled economy and that, if we really want to tackle the climate emergency, we are going to have to rein back consumerism. Looking at the idea of building a Green economy would be a very different thing but that isnt stated here.

In this rush to join the GP to vote in a GC leader, I have a question. Given the apathy of political members (how few it took to get a man as head of the women's branch). The TRA's could equally be joining to tip the balance away from Shahrar Ali.

Even if Shahrar Ali was elected leader of the Green's, he would still have to get his policies voted through and that isn't a forgone conclusion to all of this. I do, however, have my fingers crossed.

Bummer. She stood in my constituency and I voted for her precisely because she was GC as well as Green.

Got a niggle about the flawed voting system mentioned in PPs but don't know if that applies to leadership elections. I'm surprised they don't seem to have digital membership voting in this day and age. How can interest only groups with less than 1% of membership to overrule the rest of the party?

My eyes are open it might not work, but all we can do it try. Yes I'm sure people will be joining just to make sure Sharah doesn't win too. If we somehow pull this off we will help him get through the sensible policies, nothing that could could construed as hate just protection for women.
