What are all the liberal celebs so quiet now at the spa?

So we all knew that a man would get his cock out in front of women and little girls in a changing room at some point. And we would be told that the toddlers should just get over their bigotry.

Anyway, I was wondering why we haven't heard from all the slebs who have be parroting the TWAW line. Has anyone heard? Has anyone come out and and defended this brave penis? (Which I bet was a little bit hard as it sat exposing itself to a changing room full of women and little girls.)

Emma Watson? Sarah Silverman? Daniel Radcliffe? Why so quiet?

I listen to a few podcasts from comedians based in LA and I am always saddened to hear the casual way that LA millennials have decided that JKR is now toxic. Haven't heard anything about this yet from all of them.

Or am I being unfair?

Are we not allowed to talk about Jameela?

ClarrieGrundy · 05/07/2021 13:57

So, I'll try again.

I had forgotten about Jameela. And my life is much better for it.

She may tone things down as I think that she has a role in an upcoming Marvel film.

From the viral video woman's Instagram.

So she's religious. Does that mean when a male exposes himself to her and a child she doesn't deserve protection? Seriously. Stop now. If you think it's ok for a grown male to get their cock and balls out in front of women and children then just say it.

LittleNibbler · 05/07/2021 14:04

@yeahbutnaw you appear to be selectively replying and ignoring certain questions...come on, be honest; do you think that this situation (whether real or hypothetical) is acceptable? Is a person with a penis okay to be naked in the same room as women and little girls who are also naked?

Also, in the video there is a woman at the counter demanding a refund who is not the lady filming. So that’s at least one other woman Who feels the same way. Also, the staff defended it. For this debate, whether the person in question exists no longer matters, it’s what Wi Spa plan to do going forward should this situation arise again. What do you think should be allowed?

NOOOO! Seriously? Why won’t she just fuck off? Who would hire her?! Urgh

NewlyGranny · 05/07/2021 14:08

Little girls naked in the hot tub with their mums, women of all ages, all naked, coming and going in the women's area of the spa, showers etc.

Naked person overtly displaying male genitalia arrives and sits on the hot tub edge, legs splayed.

What possible difference does it make to the little girl whether this stranger is a transwoman with a female gender identity or a predatory male who has seen an opportunity to flash some unsuspecting girls and women and blagged his way in by claiming to be trans or gender fluid or whatever?

How could she tell the difference? Is she meant to be a mind-reader? How would it affect the impact of this behaviour of she knew the person's motives?

Why should the first penis she sees outside her immediate family be the unexpected one of a stranger who is flashing her and her mother and all those other women?

What is safeguarding for if not to protect vulnerable children from experiences like this?

ClarrieGrundy · 05/07/2021 14:09

Jameela is very pretty, would look great in a catsuit, and says all the right things to get impressionable teens to love her.

It’s a smart move, although I’m not sure she can actually act.

I can see your point, although I don’t find her attractive in the slightest, the shit she spouts makes her seem very ugly to me (I’m bitter after she attacked ‘thin women’ and then deleted it but never fucking apologised.)
**@SpongeBobJudgeyPants* a boycott (more male centric language)*

????????? The term originated during the movement of Irish peasants against unfair evictions by Anglo-Irish aristocracy. Captain Charles Boycott, land agent for Lord Erne became a central figure when Erne sought to evict numerous peasant farmers following a poor harvest which led to Boycott being left without servants or service by any local merchants.
Thank you for pointing out the error of my ways. Hmm I stand reprimanded. As an aside, is that seriously all you took from my post? Not the relevant bit? Too focused on showing how clever you are compared to me? Point scoring extravaganza. Hmm

@Datun

It is quite interesting how many people want to deny it's happened, though. They clearly think it's awful PR.

Which I don't really get, to be honest. It is an inbuilt feature of the entire issue. It's not going away.

They're really going to have to come up with something better than 'receipts or it didn't happen' when increasing numbers of male creeps, emboldened by the misogyny of this ideology, seize their opportunity to expose themselves in front of kids.
toffeebutterpopcorn · 05/07/2021 14:22

@WomaninBoots

Clearly ^^ they're going to be going for the "no evidence" line.
I’d love to see someone actually advising any women to whip out her phone and start recording on a naked area. Yeah that would really work wouldn’t it?
PurgatoryOfPotholes · 05/07/2021 14:26

I think the new party line will be that right-minded, progressive women don't mind being exposed to penises without their consent.

ifIwerenotanandroid · 05/07/2021 14:41

Potholes Then surely the answer is, as someone said about toilets, for those women to use the men's area of the spa/whatever, then all the males can use the men's area too, because anyone trans will be validated & protected by the progressive women being there. It's not discriminatory because all the progressives will be in together, trans being progressive, as we're so often told.

And women & children who are old-fashioned enough to want to luxuriate in a male-free (& progressive-free) space can do so in the women's section.

I'd call that a win-win situation. I don't see how anyone could reasonably object. Grin

HecatesCatsInFancyHats · 05/07/2021 14:42

Being exposed to penises without their consent in non penis environments like the workplace = #metoo

Being exposed to penises without their consent in penis friendly environments like female changing rooms = #bekind

FloralBunting · 05/07/2021 14:43

The only thing harming LGB, and probably T people is nasty people claiming to represent us and saying that it's no big deal to show a cock and balls to a child.
I suspect that's slowly dawning on some of the arseholes who like to shit all over lesbians in service of the corporate rainbow Q-slur shit, which is why we're seeing dimwit hets like Penny claim the 9 year old was at fault for looking, and people who understand what happens when lesbians and gays get tied in with grown ass perverts and have chosen to claim this doesn't happen.

Now me, I can see clear it does and has happened, and so the answer is for LGB people to state very clearly that this is nothing to do with LGB sexuality, and we reject it because it's creepy and wrong. Easy really. Unless you just love all that progress pride flag branding too much, I guess. Then you have to lie or be open about being fine with predatory red flags.

Yes agree. It fits in with the cool-girl, ‘no king-shaming’ schtick.

"It is obvious , that in California ,at least, women going to spas where it is required that they, strip off, should expect that they might be confronted with naked males and that there is nothing they can do about it, with the exception of leaving the premises."

Sadly it is not just California.

WTF? I was curious as to how you reached a conclusion that a word originating in the struggles of my ancestors was male centric. Especially when women were very central in the first 'boycotting' literally starting it by refusing the eviction notices and chasing away the officer serving them. I'm not more clever than you, just aware of my own people's history and I thought you may have had a take on it that I wasn't aware of, so I asked. Every school child in Ireland learns about this but I know as an adult that our history curriculum is often simplified to present certain views or to the point of being incorrect. Or maybe you objected to (the man) Charles Boycott having his name end up central to this kind of action?

The history of things matter. We have a situation on this thread alone where a poster is participating in a really vulgar attempt to re-write the history of what happened in the Wi Spa. In an attempt to belittle and dismiss the situation and the people who are upset by it. Making claims that a word is male-centric for no clear reason suggests that maybe you've read that claim somewhere which means that at some point someone made this claim out of nowhere and it got repeated enough times that a reasonable number of people accepted it as a fact. And that's what people like those who have decided to spread the 'wi spa never happened' nonsense count on. They want to repeat unsubstantiated claims enough to make enough people just believe them. So when someone makes claims that make you question, you should question them. And if you make an unsubstantiated claim, attacking a person who maybe knows more about it than you and questions your claims, is a pretty good way of propagating a culture where mistruths are accepted at face value.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 05/07/2021 14:50

No decent, innocent man would get his genitals out in front of women and little girls. And no decent person who genuinely cares about women and girls and understands safeguarding would defend this behaviour

This this this. Fuck all the gaslighting. It's not ok.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 05/07/2021 14:51

The way all of this ideology has shown the deep deep-rooted cultural misogyny genuinely upsets me.

None of them meant any of that Me Too posturing.

They didn't, and yes, this issue has done more to expose the misogyny of so many people, and of society in general, than any other.
