Well it's all kicking off at the spa. An amazing woman behind the desk standing up for women and telling a man where to take his penis. I fear she will lose her job over this but it's a glorious way to go.

They claim to have been maced and sucker punched and "paid it back with interest"

Sounds a bit, um, macho...

SheldonesqueTheBstard · 05/07/2021 20:43

Aye.

My name is entitled man. King of kings.

Look upon my genitals oh women, and despair.

Helleofabore · 05/07/2021 20:46

yep. We have had that posted on one of the threads.

'normalise young girls and women viewing male genitalia.'

Because a male has said that female's need to get over it.

NiceGerbil · 05/07/2021 20:57

I saw a couple videos of the trouble there.

Mostly looked to me- apologies I don't know the genders of all involved- like a standard two groups of men turning up for a fight.

I think there may have been women on one or both sides but they weren't in the mix of the violence (and I can't blame them!)

I saw a clip of a woman standing with a sign surrounded by men who were very intimidating. I wouldn't fancy being in that position.

So far so unremarkable in the behaviour of the two sexes...

The thing I find bizarre but fascinating.

Is how some women

Are following the line that little girls need to get used to being around naked penis people. And that it's wrong and rude to find that unsettling or even notice/ let on that you notice. They need to get used to this being completely normal.

They could have stayed silent.

They could have said hmm I'm not sure about this.

They could even have said, well lots of things.

To outright say that girls should not find anything unusual about seeing naked male bodies. Even if they are naked as well.

Is just. ????!!!!

EsmaCannonball · 05/07/2021 21:55

The TRAs have turned the focus of the conversation onto the young girl, her feelings and her actions. The main focus should be on why a man wants to see naked girls and why he wants naked girls to see his penis. It's the same as the conversations around prostitution focusing on the 'agency' of the woman and not on the men who financially coerce otherwise non-consenting women into sexual activity.

NiceGerbil · 05/07/2021 22:13

Have they?

Well that's a new low...

dyslek · 05/07/2021 23:07

ok, found him. Describes himself as a feminist (we need the being sick emoji)

It is chilling, traitorous even. These women, they've always existed. Doing the master's bidding.

There are no depths they won't sink to.

Completely agree.

NiceGerbil · 06/07/2021 00:24

The Anita s person (is that the right name?)

Has a post about Street harrassment and how it can escalate fast if the man doesn't like the reaction

And then

Little girls should learn that seeing naked male bodies is nothing unusual and that they should be polite.

I don't get it.

I don't know much about her but it's something seen a lot.

Women with solid feminist views having a massive blind spot about this.

I have a lovely woman at my work like this.

We have a similar view on feminism

And yet.

She's got this huge disconnect.

EG sexism is entrenched and due to this and that and these are the results etc.

But in next breath.

Stats should not ask sex, just gender.

???

She's lovely. And she is all over this.

She's active in LGBT+ as well and so I suppose her views maybe about feminism are compartmentalised from her LGBT+ activism?

It's really peculiar.

Keepitonthedownlow · 06/07/2021 00:57

I've read a post on twitter where the black thugs surrounding the woman in pink top look like the 'kill the witch' scene from monty python. It's a hateful puritanical and misogynistic attack.

NiceGerbil · 06/07/2021 01:03

You mean people (male) dressed in black?

You might want to ask MN to edit.

Screenshots etc

Furries · 06/07/2021 01:06

@Sophoclesthefox

Someone is seriously suggesting the woman should have filmed the penis owner in the act, thus also filming the naked girl and all the naked women in the spa without consent from any of them, in an environment where I am 100% certain phones will be banned? Shock

What kind of people struggle to believe women? What sort of crusader for social justice would demand that a woman of colour is held to an impossible standard of evidence? Are they seriously suggesting that the woman made up this entire event, because a trans person doesn’t make themselves vulnerable to all this purported violence from feminists by outing themself? Why did the spa staff agree that the person was allowed to use the women’s area if the person didn’t exist?

If the woman complaining had filmed the person naked in the spa, of course, she would probably be on social media trial for outing a trans person, and probably arrested for indecent exposure, the way things are going.

This is completely insane. No logic at all.

I think your comment might be in relation to one small part of one of my posts from last night?

If so, then I really didn’t word it very well. Absolutely NO WAY did I mean it would be ok to film that situation with naked women and children. In my head I was trying to get across that idiots like the woke bloke, and many others, would probably get a real shock if they saw what was on display, rather than jumping to defend the person so quickly. I thought I’d pointed out that obviously this wasn’t appropriate, but reading back I obviously didn’t word it well.

Apologies if I caused offence with my post, it really wasn’t my intention. And I don’t think the rest of my posts indicated at all that the woman complaining had made it up.

I’m fairly new to these parts, but am definitely learning that I need to choose my words very carefully to make sure I’m conveying exactly what I mean.

NiceGerbil · 06/07/2021 01:29

I don't think they would.

The woman complaining was very clear.

The fact there were women and girls who had obviously left as well would not be lost on them.

I wish I had your optimism!

To me the men standing around watching looked pretty uncomfortable and like they were hoping to hell they wouldn't have to pick a side.

Might be just looking for attention. And not be the person.

Who knows.

It is unclear, but they have declared themselves the person.
Quaggars · 06/07/2021 02:07

There was a post somewhere earlier where the poster admitted they'd made it up and it wasn't really them, will try and find.

NotBadConsidering · 06/07/2021 03:35

The behaviour of these people, as well as posters here who refuse to condemn it, is despicable.

Sophoclesthefox · 06/07/2021 06:37

Don’t worry @Furries, I’ve looked back and it wasn’t what you’d written that shocked me. It was the “well, if it really happened like she says it did, she’d have filmed it” crew that I was shocked by. Those who felt that because it wasn’t filmed, it didn’t happen, when that’s obviously a risky thing to do, and violates everyone’s privacy. I can’t recall if anyone directly said that on this thread, but there was quite a lot of that type of victim blaming going on elsewhere. The type for whom there’s never enough evidence, because they just don’t believe women. That’s not you!

Crack on, you’re doing great Smile sorry that you felt I’d singled you out.

HecatesCatsInFancyHats · 06/07/2021 08:00

Part of the reason rape convictions are so low in this country is because people don't believe what women say. Or indeed they believe it, but value the reputation/future potential of the man involved more than the woman. The instinct is to protect the male involved, rather than the woman - as we saw with the man in reception, as we see with the 'if you're uncomfortable with male junk, just don't look at male junk' mantras on social. Wilfully ignoring what we know about some men - which is that a) exposing themselves is a sexual thrill b) exposing themselves is a gateway to worse behaviour. We should not be teaching girls to mistrust their instincts to protect males. These apologists need to wake up.
