What bothers me about this, and I don't know if this will get deleted.
Is the whole reversal thing and also that I worry if all of this is going to result in something awful.
The story spread and consumed and God knows why apparently believed (???!!!) -
Is that in the UK a bunch of generally middle aged, mainly long term lefty types, including plenty with children, and including women who are lesbian, black, and in any case are usually GNC whether in appearance, personality, views, in various combinations.
Are being funded by the American religious right (!!), or maybe it's nationalist orgs, sometimes maybe both...!
Are being manipulated because women don't think for themselves... Or maybe are working towards some other evil goal (unspecified).
Oh and the sort of men who go around beating up LGBT+ people are doing it because they are listening to us...(running out of question marks)
That is apparently completely likely. Oh and we actually want various types of people including children to be brutally murdered.
I can't understand why people buy this (misogyny - and women who don't really care about female socialisation / male approval any more are just awful. Why aren't they talking about ironing boards and stuff?).
Meanwhile
There have been a fair few incidents where prominent people who strongly advocate for self-identity and opening up anything previously for women.
Have turned out to be a bit iffy.
To say the least. I mean yes there's dodgy people in all groups. But when it's iffy sexual behaviour combined with a mission to let anyone into prisons hosps communal changing etc that is labelled women, then it's got to be a worry.

A conviction for assault
The incidents in women's prisons
The incident/s in secure women's MH facilities
Someone who worked as a police officer recently convicted for having bomb making equipment and there's a video of them taking a baseball bat to a pic of Germaine Greer iirc (police could not find any political motive... Hmm)
And now someone who has been in prison for 30 years 'for the attempted murder of another prisoner after being imprisoned for kidnapping and torturing her stepmother’s brother'.
No one thinks all trans people are iffy. Not on here. (Again, violent men may be the ones to look at for this).
But it's completely bizarre to say no trans person does anything dodgy as well.
