Laurence Fox answers Women’s Place UK questions

As a candidate for London mayor Laurence Fox has answered five questions on women's rights and it is a breath of fresh air. Highlights being:

First of all, the police cannot protect what it does not define. We acknowledge that women are adult human females. They are vulnerable as a result of biological sex.

Acknowledge that The Equality Act 2010 provides legislative protection for women by virtue of their sex. We will enforce it without fear or favour and protect the rights of women to single sex spaces.

Ring fence funding for single-sex refuges and support services

Isn’t he alt right though? It’s always a bit odd to jump into bed with people I disagree with on every issue except one.

I'm not sure what else he stands for but usually I am obliged to spoil my vote (by writing none of the above and explaining my GC views) in elections so it would be refreshing if I could actually use my vote to vote for someone this time....it would certainly send a message to the political parties if he got a lot of GC votes (although as I say I don't know what else he stands for yet).

Not sure what I make of LF in general, but those were good answers to the questions and didn't strike me as purely reactionary or anti-woke.

I wish he wasn’t such a professional dickhead. He might be right on this but dear god his other views are beyond questionable, mostly because he realised being a bit controversial was a good way to keep being talked about.

Alt right? I thought we were alt right? I always find it hard to pin down a meaning to that beyond anti-woke. Maybe there are real alt right, but they seem as elusive as the real trans-hating T*RF.

I've not followed him, but saw a Triggerpod interview. Didn't seem massively out-of-line with their usual problematic guests, but no doubt someone will be along in seconds to list every Bad Person he's 'associated' with.

No, voting against candidates who don't know what sex is.

No use saying you don't know what sex is and then complaining you lose votes.

Choose policies to appeal to people, earn votes.

My concern is that , because he's a bit odd, this will be an easy way for the others to differentiate themselves from him.
