Just watched it, it featured Benjamin Butterworth, George Galloway and Rose of Dawn. BB got his arse handed to him by Piers and Rose was brilliant! Well worth a watch! It was on at 8.15 so you can watch it in an hours time if you're at home. Also Twitter reactions were v positive, with pp wanting to buy the book as a result!

Based on the clip sabina posted RoD was trying very hard not to laugh at BB.

George is also right about controlling the narrative arc of fiction, something Lionel Shriver has been vehemently against and with whom I agree.

At one point Butterworth looked like a recalcitrant 8 year old ! I am currently listening to the book in audible but , and I feel sad about this , I will not be adding it to my Good Reads because I don’t want any flack .

What was a shame was that RoseofDawn was given so little time! Rose is very articulate and frankly, more of that is needed in these discussions. I enjoy listening to Rose's videos, even if I don't agree wholly with some, the videos are usually informative. Much more calm and logical on subjects than the IW. So, I hope Piers will have more Rose less IW in the future.

I don’t think Rose of Dawn needed to say any more, than they did, because they kept it succinct, whereas it was a joy to listen to that rambling buffoon Ben Button, waffling on and repeating the nonsense, even when it was pointed out to him that he was wrong. 🤣 This has put me in great form.
