As an aside, this is how Benjamin Boyce got involved with all this.

He was doing some sort of post grad course at an arts college called Evergreen and it all imploded with political correctness and cancel culture. He's made a few documentaries/ podcasts about it, It's quite interesting to see how it all works.

She was already a brave and strong woman but I feel like every attack on her is just making her stronger and more determined than ever. She's making me braver too. I will be job hunting over the next 6-12 months (SAHP currently) which is one of the reasons I've been a bit cautious but I'm almost at the point I hope potential employers search my Twitter history, so it will weed out those employers that don't give a shit about women's rights and do me a favour by withdrawing any job offer.

She's tweeting some brilliant quotes. I have goosebumps today. I also want to hug her (Covid aside) such is my pride.

It really is. When they told her to go educate herself they must have forgotten that writers are good at research.

In certain circles there's a lot of 'if any of my followers are still following this monster/witch/more unpleasant gendered-abuse terms, you are LITERALLY KILLING TRANS PEOPLE' pressure to unfollow and denounce.

All very normal and not at all deranged. But there will be at least some of those people who are unfollowing but then quietly checking back regularly.

I can guarantee she doesn't give a flying fuck! The most successful multi-genre author of her generation, beloved by millions and a billionaire? Ha! A few flouncing twitter followers who have proven by their comments that they are misogynistic simpletons who like to post dick picks on children’s tweets? - indeed it’s laughable! She is probably glad to be rid of the rubbish. A good clear out is always a positive.
