Now r/GenderCritical has gone, Helen from Mermaids wants to know which is the most transphobic

Not sure who's going to be targetted next, but MN is winning.

There's a long list of reasons that they will go for me Mumsnet over the fruit farmers, starting with:
This is a women-centric website.

I have seen quite a few posts recently of people saying - I came to Mumsnet see how bad the transphobia was and ended up staying for the discussions after having had my eyes well and truly opened to the other side of the no debate.

So Helen might not get the result she clearly craves.

Is Mumsnet transphobic?

So they're coming for us. Is it too much to hope they're coming with reasoned, structured arguments and a willingness to listen and engage?
Shall I just tattoo TWAW on my forehead and throw myself in jail now?

I’m phobic about little holes in things. I think it’s called trypophobia. Like poppy seed pods or those frogs that give birth out of their backs.

Think archiving as much as possible would be a good idea.
Not because I am running scared but because it creates a record of the site as it is today, of this hour, that can not be altered or tampered with (well not by the likes of me anyhow, I am sure there are bigger brains out there who could figure out how).
Gutted about Gender Critical.

@TheShoesa pretty much the first MN thread I ever posted on was about a transwoman in a womans changing room. I was shocked by the 'transphobic' replies. Now here I am several years later and my eyes have well and truely been opened!

If people bother to read the threads here then it could easily backfire

Yes but this is gender critical linking. So a Bad Thing.

Lipstickalley, Tattle and their new offshoot site are all gender critical. Before moderators started doing mass deletions, the Harry Potter reddit forum was full of fans agreeing with JK Rowling.

When women are given platforms free from men trying to control the conversation, the truth will come out.

Helen is to scared of KF to go after them, and she knows they don’t care - she’s got some amusing nicknames over there Grin. Posting about MN gets her woke points and pats on the head. She’s just an attention seeker - although after getting her arse handed to her in court you’d think she’d still be hiding under the bed in shame.

Which of these websites is the worst for sexually bjectifying women?

Daily Mail
The Sun
Pornhub

I think it’s called loading the deck.

May the battle commence then.

I hope Mermaids are reading these posts and they understand that we won’t be silence and we won’t be cancelled.

Are they really suggesting Mumsnet is transphobic for daring to put forward an alternative view? How dare women resist their ideology.

And perhaps this will be the opportunity to force the argument out into the open; from social media into the papers and into the public sphere.

Let’s have a healthy and open debate and see whether the wider public agree with the TRA. Let them expose their aggression and see where that gets them.

Meanwhile I hope their so called poll diverts many here so they can read the arguments put forward and partake in some debate and reasoning that is not vicious or vulgar or threatening.

And for those who come here to disrupt and try to shut down the debate ‘Come and have a go if you think you’re hard enough’.

Do we have a backup plan if something happens to take FWR down here? We'll need somewhere else to talk.

Incidently, thanks so much to MN for supporting women talking about being women.
